Jack Grealish

Despite not making the England team for the upcoming international matches in October, the betting experts at SportsCasting are still tipping Jack Grealish to make the Three Lions World Cup 2026 squad next summer.

Since his loan move to Everton, Grealish has impressed the layers – which has seen his odds slashed on making the England World Cup squad to Evs (from 3/1).

Jack Is Back: Everton Move Has Sparked Grealish Back To Life

When it comes to rebuilding a football career, Jack Grealish is certainly giving it a good shot.

Grealish became the most expensive transfer of an English player back in 2021 – when moving from Aston Villa to Manchester City for £100m

And having won three Premier League titles, the Champions League, FA Cup, Club World and a Super Cup – this is certainly not a bad return.

However, during the later part of his Man City career, Jack Grealish was frozen out by Pep Guardiola and made only 20 league appearances in the 2024-25 – many from the bench.

This led to City deciding to loan Grealish out to Everton in the summer of 2025 – with the Toffees having an option to buy for £50m.

A move that has given Grealish a new lease of life.

Grealish Scores Late Winner To End Palace Winning Streak

With regular game time, this move to Merseyside has seemingly sparked Grealish back to form with some eye-catching performances.

Including grabbing a late winner for Everton in their recent 2-1 home win over Crystal Palace – that also ended a 19-match unbeaten streak for the Eagles.

As a result of Grealish’s good form, this has also led to over 20% of Fantasy Football managers having him in their teams and his FPL gameweek 8 price change being bumped up from £6.9m (from £6.5m).

And the betting experts are also following suit – suggesting the good run of form is set to continue, which will help get him back in the England squad for next summer’s World Cup 2026 in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Cutting his odds on making the squad to Evs (from 3/1).

Marcus Rashford England World Cup 2026 Squad Odds Also Cut

Other moves in the England World Cup 2026 squad betting odds market have been Marcus Rashford – who is now 8/13 from 2/1 after rediscovering his form at Barcelona.

While Newcastle’s Dan Burn and England veteran Jordan Henderson are other players that have seen their odds cut.

In contrast, Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, who has 64 England caps, has drifted to 6/1 (from 2/1).

And Kyle Walker on 96 caps only needs four more to hit the 100 milestone – but the layers are suggesting this might not happen.

With the former Man City man out to 8/1 (from 2/1).

Jack Grealish Was Left Out Of England’s Euro 2024 Squad

Ahead of Euro 2024, Jack Grealish was left out of the England squad by former Three Lion manager Gareth Southgate.

At the time, the City winger openly said he was “absolutely heartbroken” – having to watch England get to the final from the sidelines.

England lost 2-1 to Spain in the Euro 2024 Final.

Since then, Grealish has played for England again though – with temporary manager at the time Lee Carsley picking him for a UEFA Nations League match against Finland in October 2024.

Grealish scored in the game, which resulted in a 3-1 win for the Three Lions.
