The current international break has given FPL players a chance to take stock and reflect on their teams and with many still armed with the golden ‘wild card’ – there could be some big transfer changes happening this month.
With that in mind, we look at SIX players to have on your radars that have already hit the ground running in their opening seven games – creating the MOST CHANCES, which of course leads to goals and all-important points.
FPL Players That Have Created The Most CHANCES – Ahead Of Gameweek 8
See below the six players that are topping the ‘most chances’ table after seven games – and you might be shocked to see TWO Leeds United players on the list.
Yes, despite Leeds having only won two of their opening seven Premier League games, Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach are both joint fourth in the most chances list on 13.
Joining the Leeds duo is Tottenham’s Mohammed Kudus with 13 chances too.
Liverpool’s forward Cody Gakpo is third with 14, with Everton loan star Jack Grealish second on 17.
But it’s Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes leading the way with a massive 19 chances created for the Red Devils in the first seven league games.

🔸Bruno – 19
🔸Grealish – 17
🔸Gakpo – 14
🔸Longstaff – 13
🔸Kudus – 13

Bruno Fernandes
- Chances: 19
- Team: Manchester United
- Value: £9.0m
- FPL Points: 28
- Selected: 18.6%
- Next Game: Liverpool (Away)
With 18.6% FPL managers already having Fernandes, then almost a fifth of coaches have been cashing in on the United midfielder.
His 19 chances have helped him rack-up 28 points after seven games, but with their next game away at Liverpool managers that haven’t got him in already might want to hold off.
United are at home to Brighton on the 25th October after the Liverpool game.
Jack Grealish
Man City man, Jack Grealish is on loan at Everton and has made a good start in re-building his career.
The winger ended the Palace 19-game unbeaten run with a late strike in their last match and has a staggering 37 FPL points so far – helped by his 17 chances.
Just over 20% of managers have him – but this figure is expected to rise, with his cost just £6.9m, he looks a great purchase for anyone eyeing a cheaper midfield option.
As a result of his good form the England World Cup 2026 squad betting odds on Grealish making the team next summer have been slashed too.
Everton’s next game, however, is against City – so Grealish can’t play.
So, anyone that doesn’t have him yet – might want to hold off for another week.
- Chances: 17
- Team: Everton
- Value: £6.9m
- FPL Points: 37
- Selected: 20.6%
- Next Game: Tottenham (Home) 26th Oct
Cody Gakpo
Liverpool forward/winger Cody Gakpo is in 11.9% of teams and has rewarded them with 33 points so far after seven league games.
The Dutchman sits third on the 'chances' table with 14 created and with a home game against Man Utd next, you feel there will be more points for Gakpo in the coming week.
- Chances: 14
- Team: Liverpool
- Value: £7.5m
- Selected: 11.9%
- FPL Points: 33
- Next Game: Man Utd (Home)
Sean Longstaff
The former Newcastle player has been a bargain buy for just 0.6% of FPL managers - backed up with 28 points, seeing him as a top investment so far.
Longstaff has chipped in with one league goal so far this season and with their next game against struggling Burnley now could be the time to get him added to your squads.
- Chances: 13
- Team: Leeds United
- Value: £4.9m
- Selected: 0.6%
- FPL Points: 28
- Next Game: Burnley (Away)
Mohammed Kudus
Of the top six 'most chances' players listed - Tottenham's Mohammed Kudus is selected in the most teams.
He's already in 33.1% of sides - meaning almost a third of manager's already have him.
Kudus has notched decent 39 points to date too - helping Spurs head into Gameweek 8 third in the table, with only one league defeat.
He looks a regular for new boss Thomas Frank and at just £6.7m his FPL value is surely only going to carry on rising.
- Chances: 13
- Team: Tottenham
- Value: £6.7m
- Selected: 33.1%
- FPL Points: 39
- Next Game: Aston Villa (Home)
Anton Stach
German Leeds United midfielder Anon Stach is the final 'most chances' player to have in your sights.
He's scored just one league goal this term - but that was a cracking free-kick in their 3-1 win over Wolves in September.
Stach will set you back £5.0 if you want to get him added to your squad - and with 33 points and an away trip to Burnley next, then he's fully expected to get more points some the international break ends.
- Chances: 13
- Team: Leeds United
- Value: £5.0m
- Selected: 3.2%
- Points: 33
- Next Game: Burnley (Away)
