Premier League leaders Arsenal will look to maintain their perfect record in the UEFA Champions League when they host Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
The Gunners have won their previous two league-stage fixtures, while Atletico have won one and lost the other.
Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid Champions League Preview
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are in a good moment. They are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions, winning their last five.
In the Premier League, they have capitalised on Liverpool’s collapse, opening up a three-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the rankings. The Reds are now down in fourth place with 15 points, four behind the Gunners.
Arsenal have gotten off to a 100% start in the Champions League. In their season opener, they claimed a 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao away from home. On Matchday 2, they repeated the scoreline against Olympiacos at the Emirates Stadium.

The North London club have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five games, Â scoring nine goals and conceding just one.
Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, have been a bit of a hit and miss. In LaLiga, they have won four, drawn four, and lost one. Los Rojiblancos famously beat Real Madrid 5-2 in September, but they trail them by eight points in league rankings.
In the Champions League, Atletico Madrid opened with a 3-2 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield. Virgil van Dijk scored in injury time to deny them a point in England.

Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid Betting Tips
- Arsenal to Win – 8/13
- Both Teams to Score: Yes – 21/20
- Bukayo Saka to Score or Assist – 1/1
Arsenal to Win – 8/13
Both Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are enjoying unbeaten runs across tournaments. But the Gunners have been a lot more disciplined and clinical. They have gone eight games without defeat, winning seven and drawing one.
They have scored 15 goals in those fixtures and conceded just two, keeping six clean sheets.
Scoring five goals apiece against Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt, Atletico have proven their goalscoring ability. However, the defeat against Liverpool highlighted their defensive vulnerabilities. At the Emirates Stadium, they may try a safer approach to minimise damage.
Arsenal have gotten accustomed to breaking down teams in the Premier League, and we believe it will come in handy on Tuesday night as they take on a gritty Atletico.
Both Teams to Score – 21/20
Arsenal have scored in their last eight games across competitions and have an excellent defensive record.
They kept a clean sheet in six of those matches, only conceding against Manchester City and Newcastle United. This suggests that even the most economical team in the Premier League is vulnerable to high-quality attack.
And with the likes of Julian Alvarez and Antoine Griezmann leading the charge, Atletico Madrid’s attack can be hailed as one of the best in Europe.
Atletico Madrid have scored at least one goal in all 11 of their matches this season. Alvarez has been the biggest goal threat, scoring six goals in nine LaLiga matches.
Additionally, Los Colchoneros have conceded in nine of those games, meaning a clean sheet at the Emirates Stadium looks statistically unlikely.
Bukayo Saka to Score or Assist – 1/1
Arsenal captain Bukayo Saka has been in rapid form lately. He has scored two goals in his last three matches for Arsenal in all competitions, including in the 2-0 win over Olympiacos. Owing to his impressive form, Saka saw his value rise in FPL price changes for Gameweek 8.
Saka also contributed for England in the October international break scoring against Wales (3-0) and providing an assist in the 5-0 victory over Latvia.
