Chris Eubank Jr BoMac - Boxing

Chris Eubank Jr’s trainer Brian MacIntyre, aka ‘BoMac’, believes that Conor Benn is ‘already beat’.

BoMac feels that Benn is only in it for the money now, and insists that Eubank Jr will be ‘prepared for whatever he brings to the table’ in Saturday’s rematch.

Chris Eubank Jr Trainer BoMac: Conor Benn Is ‘Already Beat’

Chris Eubank Jr’s trainer Brian MacIntyre, aka ‘BoMac’, is supremely confident that his man defeats bitter rival Conor Benn for the second time on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Not only is BoMac supremely confident of a Eubank Jr win, he actually feels that Benn is ‘already beat’ ahead of this colossal rematch.

First time around back in April, BoMac was unable to corner Eubank due to commitments with other fighters. However, he will be in the corner for this rematch, like he was back in 2023 for the Liam Smith rematch where Eubank Jr won via 10th round knockout.

Eubank Jr’s girlfriend may be unknown as he announces he is going to be a father of twin boys, but what is known is that BoMac has been coaching ‘Next Gen’ for this entire fight camp and will be in his corner come fight night this weekend.

Benn did have moments of success in the first fight back in April, but Eubank Jr ended up winning the fight somewhat convincingly on the three judges’ scorecards. This is something BoMac sees happening again in the rematch, insisting that ‘The Destroyer’ may in fact be ‘already beat’.

“I think he’s [Conor Benn] already beat. He’s already beat,” MacIntyre told ESPN in a pre-fight interview.

“I think, personally, he might be in it for the money. I’m sure they’re making good money for it. After what Chris done to him all the way up until now, some fighters can’t come back from that. We’ll see though,” MacIntyre concluded.

BoMac Expects Nothing But A Eubank Jr Win In Conor Benn Rematch

All of the Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 rules have been set including the weight limit and rehydration clause, which many people believe to be in Benn’s favour. However, they are the same as the first fight, which Eubank Jr obviously went on to win.

Although the 160-pound weight limit and 10-pound rehydration clause may suit ‘The Destroyer’, Eubank Jr’s trainer BoMac still expects nothing other than a comprehensive victory for his man come Saturday night in their rematch.

The last time BoMac cornered Eubank Jr, the Brighton man knocked out Liam Smith in Round 10 of their 2023 rematch. The American boxing coach is expecting much of the same this time around, and feels they are prepared for whatever Benn brings on Saturday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium:

“Chris will be prepared for whatever he [Benn] brings to the table,” BoMac told ESPN.

The coach of three-weight undisputed king Terence Crawford might not have been there for the first Benn fight back in April, but watched on from the US and feels his man will be even better this time around:

“I will tell you it was a good fight. He [Eubank Jr] pulled away with the win. Obviously he can do better but I’m not going to tell you [how].”

Who Else Does BoMac Coach Besides Chris Eubank Jr?

Brian MacIntyre, aka ‘BoMac’, is expected to accompany his man on Thursday at the Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 press conference. He will also be in the corner on fight night, giving ‘Next Gen’ instructions as he aims to beat Benn for the second time this year.

This wasn’t the case for the first fight on April 26, with BoMac pre-occupied back in the US with another one of his fighters.

MacIntyre was preparing Keyshawn Davis for his first world title fight back then, which he went on to win with a fourth round knockout of Denys Berinchyk to win the WBO World Lightweight Title.

BoMac also coaches the great Terence Crawford. The American boxing coach has been the long-term trainer of Crawford, guiding him to world titles in five different weight classes. This of course includes becoming the undisputed champion in three weight categories too.

Alongside Eubank Jr, Crawford and Davis, MacIntyre also trains or formerly trained the likes of Amir Khan, Jamel Herring, Maurice Hooker and a few other lesser names.

For now though, his sole focus is on helping Chris Eubank Jr defeat bitter rival Conor Benn for the second time on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
