Chelsea secured a 3-0 victory over Barcelona in their Champions League Gameweek 5 clash on Tuesday night.
Barca defender Jules Koune, who was once heavily linked with Chelsea, scored an own goal in the 27th minute. Just before the break, Ronald Araujo saw a second yellow in a 12-minute window and was sent off.
Chelsea teenager Estevao made it 2-0 in the 55th minute, scoring one of the finest goals of the campaign.
💙🎞️ Maresca: “Estevão looks like an old style guy. He’s not on his phone all the time, not spending a lot of time on social media…”.
“He’s working hard, he’s a simple and normal kid. I love that. His family is always around. He’s special player but normal guy”, told Sky. pic.twitter.com/0T1kLlA7MD

Reece James played the ball to Estevao down the right-hand channel. The 18-year-old cut inside, went past Pau Cubarsi, and unleashed an unstoppable shot from a tight angle despite pressure from Alejandro Balde.
Estevao’s goal, which gave Chelsea a two-goal cushion, sent Stamford Bridge into pandemonium. It also, at least for the time being, settled the much-anticipated debate between Estevao and Barca’s teen sensation Lamine Yamal.
With Yamal — the most valuable player in the world — failing to make an impact on Tuesday, Chelsea fans were heard aiming taunts at him.

Liam Delap scored the third goal of the night in the 73rd minute, securing a 3-0 win for the hosts.
With the victory, the Blues moved to a provisional fifth place in the league table. The Blaugrana, meanwhile, dropped to 15th place in the rankings.
Estevao vs Lamine Yamal – Stats Compared
On Tuesday night, Estevao was the most impactful teenager on the pitch.
He scored a sublime goal, created a game-high three chances, pulled off two dribbles, and made four recoveries.
Lamine Yamal, on the other hand, had only one shot, lost possession 21 times, played just two passes into the final third, and lost five duels.
While Estevao outshone Yamal on Tuesday, the Spaniard is much ahead in goal contributions and trophies won.
Only 18 years of age, Yamal has already won two LaLiga titles and a Copa del Rey with Barcelona and the European Championship with Spain.
