Leeds manager Daniel Farke has been given just one more game to save his job – but it’s against Manchester City.
Farke guided the Elland Road side to the Championship title last season, but his poor Premier League record and Leeds’ struggles this campaign mean his job is seriously at risk.
Daniel Farke Given One More Game To Save His Job At Leeds
With Leeds languishing in the Premier League relegation zone, boss Daniel Farke has been given just one more game to save his job.
This is amplified by the latest Premier League sack race betting odds, who have Farke as the outright favourite to be the next manager casualty in England’s top flight.
In a bid to save their season before it’s too late, some Leeds fans have called for Farke to be sacked. Rumours have been circulating that the San Francisco 49er owners are already lining up their new man, but the German coach still has some hope.
Farke faced four tricky fixtures to save his job, but it seems the Leeds board are now giving the former Norwich boss even less time. In fact, it is being heavily rumoured that Farke will lose his job if his side are defeated by Manchester City this weekend.
Although Arsenal look primed to win their first Premier League title in over a decade, City are one of the sides still in the title picture. Pep Guardiola’s side sit in third place in the current standings, just seven points behind Mikel Arteta’s side.
Guardiola will feel his side are more than capable of running Arsenal close and mounting the pressure on them, with Saturday’s clash with Leeds one almost everyone is expecting City to win comfortably.
If City do beat the west Yorkshire side, that could spell the end of Farke’s reign at the Leeds helm. Ultimately, it seems the German is being given just one more game to save his job.
Unfortunately for Farke, it happens to be against one of the Premier League’s best teams on their own patch.
🚨 Daniel Farke’s current situation at Leeds seems as follows:
He is to be backed against Man City hence a press-conference being scheduled for tomorrow.

Daniel Farke Has The Worst Premier League Manager Record Ever
One of the reasons Daniel Farke’s job is under threat at Elland Road is because he boasts an unwanted Premier League managerial record.
The Elland Road side sit in 18th place in the Premier League, registering just 11 points this campaign. Although there are worse teams in the league it seems, the Whites are most definitely in the mix for relegation straight back to the Championship.
Farke’s win ratio (14.8%) is the worst of any manager in Premier League history who has taken charge of 50+ games.
Add to that the fact that Farke’s points-per-game record (0.61) is also the worst of any coach to have ever taken charge of over 50 games in the history of the Premier League.

Hence why the next Leeds United manager odds market has the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Marco Silva and Marco Rose primed to take over at Elland Road and replace Farke in the hot seat.
If Leeds lose on their travels to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon, that could well spell the end for the German and his time in charge of Yorkshire’s biggest club.
Although some fans may feel Farke deserves a little longer in charge, having the worst Premier League managerial record in history certainly doesn’t help his cause one bit.
Farke has one more game to save his job, or else there will be a changing of the guard at Elland Road with a new manager hunt beginning immediately.
