Gerwyn Price may well have another successful sporting career once he retires from darts.
The former world champion showed off his incredible pool skills at the Mosconi Cup, letting out a trademark roar after winning his match.
Gerwyn Price Shows Incredible Pool Skills At Mosconi Cup
As if being a world-class darts player wasn’t enough, Gerwyn Price has shown he is world class at yet another sport.
Everyone already knows Price’s skills as a sportsman first came on the rugby pitch, before turning into one of the world’s best darts players in the blink of an eye.
It seems the Welshman is a competent all-rounder when it comes to sports, as he showed at the 2025 Mosconi Cup.
As ‘The Iceman’ prepares for the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace, he has taken some time away from the oche to represent Team Europe at this year’s Mosconi Cup in a pro-am match.

The latest Ally Pally announcement ahead of the Worlds obviously isn’t playing on Price’s mind, who instead showcased his insane pool talents with a 2-0 victory alongside youngster Milan Patel.
Price and Patel defeated their opponents with relative ease, with ‘The Iceman’ keeping his cool on the pool table on multiple occasions.
Price of course won the 2021 World Darts Championship as well as multiple PDC majors, but has proved that he could well have a future in pool if his darts career begins to go downhill.

Gerwyn Price Lets Out Trademark Roar After Mosconi Cup Win
Gerwyn Price’s net worth may have surpassed £2.5million, but his sheer passion and hunger is as fierce as ever, as shown in his pro-am match at the 2025 Mosconi Cup at Ally Pally on Thursday night.
Price is a divisive character at the best of times, but has gained huge support of late with darts fans seeming to be on the Welshman’s side more often than not.
That being said, ‘The Iceman’ is still known for his fiery disposition on the oche, which seemingly translates into other sports too. Price continued to be his usual boisterous self in his Mosconi Cup pool match, letting out his trademark scream after hitting the winning pot.
The 40-year-old was evidently thrilled with his win, showing that he has a competitive edge in all sports, not just darts.
The Iceman nails it, and there's the scream! 🥶💥

Price is known for his trademark bellow and roar when winning a darts match or hitting a nine-dart finish, and he didn’t miss a chance to celebrate in front of his opponent at the pool table either.
This hilarious moment of Price celebrating went down a treat with fans, with people clearly seeing the funny side of it.
After his moment of brief celebration, Price was quick to show his respect and fist-pump his opponents after the game.
Will Gerwyn Price Play Pool After Darts Retirement?
After showing he has insane ability on the pool table, some fans have questioned whether Gerwyn Price could have a professional career in pool after retiring from darts.
‘The Iceman’ has no plans of retiring from darts anytime soon, but may well consider exploring a different avenue when he does decide to put the arrows down for good.
Price is one of the most followed darts players on Instagram coming in at third behind Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen, and he’s clearly popular among the pool fraternity after his exploits at the 2025 Mosconi Cup too.
After his brief spell in pool, Price’s attention will turn back to the World Darts Championship now, with his first match set for Tuesday, December 16 in the evening session.
The Welshman will take on Adam Galwas in Round 1, looking to get his tournament off to a winning start as he goes in pursuit of a second Sid Waddell Trophy.
