West Ham Could Face Exodus As Fiorentina Line Up Surprise Move For Duo

Fiorentina have made contact with West Ham to discuss a potential double deal for duo Kyle Walker-Peters and Soungoutou Magassa.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo is being active during the window by trying to fine-tune his squad and give themselves the best shot at avoiding relegation.

The Hammers sit five points adrift of safety but have shown signs of life with back-t0-back wins over Tottenham and Sunderland.

West Ham Duo Wanted In Italy

According to Calcio Mercato, the Serie A strugglers are eyeing a new midfielder and wide player to help their chances of relegation.

Like West Ham, they currently occupy the final relegation spot but sit just a point behind Lecce.

Walker-Peters has started 10 games this season but is seen as the second choice behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

He came into the side for five consecutive matches while Wan-Bissaka was representing DR Congo at AFCON, but immediately found himself on the bench following the latter’s return.

The 28-year-old only joined from Southampton in the summer as a free agent, but has struggled to find his form in a struggling Hammers side.

Midfielder Magassa has been in and out of the side throughout the course of the campaign and is another player who has yet to find his best form since his summer arrival.

Any permanent deal remains unlikely, with a loan the most financially feasible option.

More West Ham Departures

With Lucas Paqueta finally on the verge of returning to Brazil, Besiktas are also keen to test West Ham’s resolve.

It’s reported they have launched bids for both Tomas Soucek and Alphonse Areola.

Soucek has started eight matches, and with 18 months left on his contract, they believe a bid in the region of £12million could tempt the Hammers.

Areola has re-integrated himself as West Ham’s first-choice keeper, but his position is under threat if they can pull off a deal to bring in Antonin Kinsky from Tottenham.

Kinsky, who moved to Spurs from Slavia Prague last year, has found himself surplus to requirements under Thomas Frank.

Any Incomings?

Alongside Kinsky, West Ham are also in a four-way tussle to sign central defender Charlie Cresswell from Toulouse.

Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Brighton are also looking into the ex-Leeds player this month.

Nuno is also hoping to bolster his defence with the club locked in talks with Chelsea to sign outcast Axel Disasi.

Disasi was part of Enzo Maresca’s bomb squad at the Blues and was training away from the first team for the majority of the campaign.
