Conor Galvin Is Current Apprentice Betting Favourite

Conor Galvin has moved to the head of the Apprentice winner odds after the opening three episodes of the series.
Early markets often react quickly to screen time, first impressions and perceived boardroom standing, which has helped shape his position at the top of the betting at this stage.
Galvin entered the process with a clear professional background as a photobooth business owner.
That entrepreneurial profile fits the type of candidate bookmakers often expect to go deep into the process.
With the series still in its early stages, his position as favourite reflects market sentiment rather than any settled hierarchy.
The winner odds are likely to shift as the field narrows and task performances begin to carry more weight.

Episode Recaps
Episode 1: Hong Kong Hustle
To kick off the series, Lord Sugar shipped the candidates to Hong Kong to hunt down nine specific items at bargain prices.
The girls’ team suffered a total meltdown, arriving nearly two hours late with only two correct items.
In a shock double firing to start the process, Lord Sugar dispatched Project Manager Nikki for her shambolic leadership and Georgina for simply being “too nice.”
Fired: Nikki & Georgina
Episode 2: Storytime Shambles
The teams were tasked with writing and pitching a children’s picture book and audiobook.
While the girls scraped a win, the boys produced a story so muddled and devoid of a moral that Lord Sugar claimed it had “no point.”
The real drama came in the boardroom, where Project Manager Marcus attempted a bizarre U-turn on who to bring back, sealing his fate for his indecision.
Fired: Marcus
Episode 3: Chicken vs Egg
Lord Sugar tasked the candidates with turning 25kg of raw ingredients into profitable street food and corporate canapes.
The egg team dissolved into chaos under Carrington, a vegan PM who couldn’t taste her own product—a decision Lord Sugar branded “like putting a nun in charge of Tinder.”
However, the fatal error came during negotiations, where Tanmay undercut his own team’s already low price, shaking hands on a deal that wiped out their margins.
Fired: Tanmay
What Is the Format of The Apprentice?
The Apprentice follows a group of candidates competing to win a £250,000 investment from Alan Sugar and become his next business partner.
Each week, candidates are split into teams and given a business-related task.
Typically, this involves selling products, creating brands, or pitching services.
Afterwards, Lord Sugar names the winning team and drags the losers back into the boardroom.
In the boardroom, Lord Sugar reviews each candidate’s performance.
As a result, one or more contestants are fired.
This process continues until two candidates remain and progress to the final.
For the 2026 series, there are 20 candidates, which is more than the usual 18.
This change has been introduced to mark the show’s 20th anniversary.
Finally, the remaining two candidates present detailed business plans in the final.
At that stage, Lord Sugar selects the winner and confirms the £250,000 investment.

Who Won The Apprentice Last Year (2025)?
Dean Franklin won The Apprentice in 2025 after being selected by Alan Sugar in the final.
At that stage, Franklin beat fellow finalist Anisa Khan following the presentation of their business proposals.
As a result, he was chosen as Lord Sugar’s next business partner.
His winning business focused on air conditioning.
Following his victory, Franklin secured a £250,000 investment, along with ongoing mentoring from Lord Sugar, to help grow the company.
