The Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifying campaign continues against Armenia on Tuesday, and you can back our betting tips with this 9/1 bet builder.
Saturday’s opening qualifier saw Ireland play out an entertaining 2-2 draw against Hungary at the Aviva Stadium.
Barnabas Varga had given Hungary the lead after less than two minutes, before Roland Sallai doubled the visitors’ advantage around ten minutes later.
But Evan Ferguson pulled one back for Ireland shortly after half-time.
And when Hungary were reduced to 10 men, momentum shifted to the hosts.
However, it wasn’t until the 93rd minute that Adam Idah’s header levelled the scores to snatch a vital and dramatic point in Dublin.
Armenia, meanwhile, were thumped 5-0 by Portugal in their opening qualifier.
Looking ahead to this one, the Republic of Ireland are 17/20 favourites with football betting sites, while Armenia are priced at around 10/3.
The last time these two met was in the Nations League in September 2022, with Ireland running out 3-2 winners.

Evan Ferguson to score any time @ 15/8
First up, we have Brighton’s Evan Ferguson as our any-time goalscorer.
The 20-year-old striker is currently on loan at Serie A side AS Roma, and grabbed the first of Ireland’s goals against Hungary.
Still only a youngster, Ferguson was linked to Nottingham Forest in January.
He has shown bags of potential and is expected by many to lead the line for his country for the next decade.
It’s often said goals are like buses and come along in groups, and we think Ferguson is well-placed to score another on Tuesday.

Next, we are backing the Irish to get that all-important first win of the qualifying campaign.
They boast a squad packed with Premier League and Championship quality against an Armenian outfit far inferior on paper.
Heimir Hallgrímsson’s men should have enough to take maximum points and get their campaign up and running in earnest.
Over 10 Corners @ 13/8
Finally, we think there will be plenty of corners.
With Ireland boasting excellent set-piece takers such as Southampton fullback Ryan Manning, they will be happy to force corners and fee-kicks whenever possible.
We expect them to dominate, which could see Armenia cough up a lot of set-pieces, while the hosts will also know the corners are perhaps their best chance of scoring themselves.
