These two sides has an almost identical run in the Champions League group stage, picking up 13 points from eight matches and taking up the 16th/17th places.
Monaco were thrashed by Inter Milan in their last European clash and are coming off another drubbing, losing 4-1 to PSG in Ligue 1.
In fact, the French side have won just three of their last nine matches across all competitions, but have won four of their last five home fixtures.
Benfica earned an impressive 2-0 victory away from home in their last Champions League clash, proving too much for Juventus and this started a run of three consecutive wins.
The Portuguese giants will also have a slight mental edge on Wednesday evening as they already hold a 3-2 victory over Monaco from the group stages.

Monaco will not be able to call upon several players on Wednesday evening, as Lamine Camara, Chrirstian Mawissa, Jordan Teze and Wilfried Singo all miss out.
