This year’s Aston Villa ticket prices have been released, and it’s left a bad taste in the mouths of plenty of Villa fans.
The rising cost of football is something fans across the world are struggling with.
From travel expenses to beer prices in the stadium, it’s getting more and more difficult to follow your team up and down the country.
Every Premier League club’s kits seem to be getting more expensive by the year.
And now, Aston Villa have put up their ticket prices ahead of August’s Premier League opener against Newcastle United.
Unsurprisingly, fans are far from pleased with Villa, accusing them of squeezing every penny out of hard-working supporters.
Aston Villa Ticket Prices Cause Outrage Once Again
This isn’t the first time Villa’s ticket prices have caused controversy.
In September of last year, the club came under scrutiny for charging huge sums at European home games.
Aston Villa fans were left fuming at the cost of Champions League tickets, with the cheapest adult tickets costing a whopping £85 for non-season ticket holders.
And while the club aren’t charging as much for their Premier League opener, it’s still left fans absolutely livid.

Adult tickets for Villa’s game against Newcastle on Saturday, 16 August range from £58 to £92.
Even concessionary tickets such as those for under-21s and over-66s are at least £41.50 and £44 respectively.
For comparison, tickets to Villa’s Carabao Cup final at Wembley in 2020 started at £40 for adults, £30 for those aged 17-21, and just £20 for anyone under 17 or over 66 years old.
Fans React To Aston Villa Ticket Prices
The steady increase in Aston Villa ticket prices has left plenty of people feeling short-changed.
Fans have taken to social media en masse to voice their displeasure.
One Instagram user said: “They are absolutely taking the Mickey out of their supporters here.”
Another added: “Working mans game gone.”
And a third said: “What happens when you allow so much foreign investment, they don’t care no matter how much they say they do.
“American owners, you should see the price of NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL games.”
How Much Is An Aston Villa Season Ticket
While individual match ticket prices at Aston Villa are causing a stir, the cost of a season ticket is by no means cheap either.
For 2025-26, Aston Villa season tickets range from £672 up to £992 for adults.
The cheapest possible season ticket at Villa this year will be £164, for under 14s in Zone Four.
Meanwhile, a family season ticket package will set fans back a massive £1,615 in total.
For that price, supporters will expect their team to perform well.
But according to the best football betting sites in the UK, Villa are 4/1 for a top four finish, with most predicting them to finish around seventh in the table.
