Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala have been confirmed as the cover stars on the Standard Edition of EA Sports FC 26.

Bellingham and Musiala Confirmed As EA FC 26 Cover Stars

Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala will star on the cover of this year’s EA FC 26 video game.

The pair will feature on the front of the Standard Edition, which is expected to be released on all major gaming platforms towards the end of September.

Real Madrid’s Bellingham is on the cover for a second time, having been selected as a lone cover star last year. Bayern Munich’s Musiala, meanwhile, features for the first time.

He becomes the first Bundesliga player to star on the cover since Marco Reus in 2017.

It had already been leaked by insiders in recent weeks that the duo, who were previously roommates during their England youth days, would front the new game.

But EA Sports have now officially confirmed the news on their X (formerly Twitter) account.

A tweet posted on Wednesday afternoon read: “Roommates to Rivals to Cover Stars.

“Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala are side by side with the community on the FC 26 Standard Edition.”

An image of the EA FC 26 Standard Edition cover was also included in the tweet (see below).

It follows on from Zlatan Ibrahimovic being confirmed as the cover star for the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 26 on Monday. The Swede is also set to return in-game as an Icon in Ultimate Team.

The EA FC 26 trailer is due to be released later today. It will be streamed on EA Sports’ YouTube channel on Wednesday, 16 July, at 4:57pm BST.
