Brentford Record Fourth Successive Away Win

Brentford hit a new high after they thrashed relegation-threatened Leicester 4-0 at the King Power Stadium on Friday night to move back into the top-half of the table.

The Bees have now won four consecutive Premier League games on the road for the first time in their history. Goals from Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Norgaard put Thomas Frank’s side in control at the break.

Fabio Carvalho completed the rout late on but if truth be told, the scoreline could have been much more handsome. Kevin Schade hit the woodwork and Keane Lewis-Potter had his effort chalked off for handball.

Frank’s men can start to look at mounting a push for the European spots. As it stands, the west Londoners are now six points off fifth-placed Bournemouth.

Mark Flekken – 7

The Dutch shot-stopper had a fairly quiet evening but did register three saves to ensure another fine clean sheet.

Kristoffer Ajer – 7

A solid and confident showing at right-back and handled the Leicester forward line with minimal fuss.

Nathan Collins – 8 

The Bees are blessed to have such a fine centre-back in the shape of the ROI star. A rock at the back.

Ethan Pillock – 7

Another pillar at the back who handled the Leicester threat with relative ease.

Keane Lewis-Potter – 7

Had an effort wiped off for handball in an otherwise glowing performance from the youngster.

Vitaly Janelt – 7

Marshalled the midfield and produced a fine defensive display to take the pressure off his teammates behind him.

Christian Norgaard – 7

Similar to Janelt, a solid and professional performance from the skipper who headed home the third goal.

Bryan Mbeumo – 8 

Scored the second and assisted the third. A super showing from the Cameroon international.

Mikkel Damsgaard – 9 

Easily the best player on the pitch and the deserved Man of the Match. Assisted twice in the first-half and pulled all the strings.

Kevin Schade – 7

Unlucky not to score but was highly influential throughout. Linked up well with Mbeumo and Damsgaard.

Yoane Wissa – 8 

Back on the scoresheet after his recent dry spell. Looked lively and took his goal extremely well.
