Bristol City can jump into the Championship playoff spots if they beat Norwich City at Ashton Gate on Friday night.

Liam Manning’s side salvaged a draw from a tricky away clash at Sheffield United on Tuesday night thanks to a Mark Sykes 90th-minute equaliser.

Time is running out for Norwich City meanwhile who are 12th in the standings – seven points off the playoff spots in the Championship table.

Liam Manning’s side will be without Ayman and Luke McNally for the rest of the season due to cruciate ligament injuries.

Other Bristol City team news ahead of their clash with Norwich is that Josh Campbell-Slowey and Ross McCrorie are also out injured.
