Carabao Cup Best Bets

The fourth round of the Carabao Cup gets underway with three matches on Tuesday evening, and we’ve selected our best bets ahead of the action.

Three Carabao Cup fourth round fixtures take place on Tuesday night, with Brentford travelling to Grimsby, Wycombe hosting Fulham, and Wrexham battling Cardiff in an all-Welsh affair.

Grimsby, who defeated Manchester United in the second round, are the lowest-ranked side remaining in the competition, and they’ll be hoping to pull off another massive upset here.

Based on the Bees’ recent form however, this scenario seems unlikely. Keith Andrews’ side have won three of their last four in the top-flight and overcame Liverpool 3-2 last time out.

Meanwhile, Marco Silva’s out-of-form Cottagers are odds-on favourites to beat League One side Wycombe, and Phil Parkinson’s Dragons are being tipped to defeat the Bluebirds on home turf.

A further five fixtures follow on Wednesday to decide on who advances to the quarter-finals.

The Carabao Cup fourth round draw saw matches set up between Newcastle and Tottenham, as well as Liverpool vs Crystal Palace. Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are also in action.

Read on as we unveil our best bets for all three of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup fourth round fixtures.

Carabao Cup Fourth Round Best Bets on Tuesday

Grimsby vs Brentford Betting Tip (19:45 KO)

Our first tip for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup action is for Brentford to win both halves at Blundell Park.

The Mariners have enjoyed an incredible run to the competition’s fourth round, but having lost three of their last four in all competitions, we see their journey coming to an abrupt end here.

David Artell’s side suffered a 3-2 defeat by Crewe at the weekend, while the Bees claimed an impressive 3-2 win over reigning English champions Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium.

It follows on from top-flight victories over West Ham and Manchester United over the last month.

Enjoying a strong spell of form, we’re backing the West Londoners to make light work of Grimsby.

Best Bet: Brentford to Win Both Halves @ 2/1

Wycombe vs Fulham Betting Tip (19:45 KO)

Next up, we’re tipping Fulham to qualify for the quarter-finals and for both teams to score.

The Cottagers head into the tie in poor form, having lost each of their last four Premier League matches since their 1-0 win over Cambridge United in the third round last month.

Despite this, the disparity in quality between their squad and Wycombe’s should be clear to see at Adams Park. This is why we believe they’ll prevail, either in 90 minutes or on penalties.

Although we expect them to come out on top, we don’t expect them to do so without conceding a goal. The Chairboys have scored in each of their last 11 matches in all competitions, and despite defeat being likely, we’re backing that record to be extended against the Cottagers.

Best Bet: Fulham to Qualify and Both Teams to Score – Yes @ 8/5

Wrexham vs Cardiff City Betting Tip (20:00 KO)

Finally, we’re backing Wrexham to win and both teams to score at the Racecourse Ground.

The Red Dragons have reached this stage of the competition courtesy of wins over Hull, Preston and Reading, and they have now lost just one of their last eight matches in all competitions.

This includes a 1-1 draw away at high-flying Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.

As for Cardiff, they sit at the top of the third-tier table but have lost three of their last five in all competitions. They suffered a 1-0 defeat away at Bolton Wanderers in their most recent outing.

Their most recent cup clash, another all-Welsh affair at home to Newport County in the EFL Trophy group stage earlier in the month, ended in a disappointing 1-0 loss.

Despite their slight dip in form as of late, the Bluebirds have failed to score in just three of their 18 competitive matches in 2025-26, which is why we see a strong likelihood in them scoring here.

Best Bet: Wrexham to Win and Both Teams to Score – Yes @ 7/2
