Chelsea sealed a narrow 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur courtesy of an Enzo Fernandez header in the Premier League on Thursday night, and you can watch the full match highlights below.

Fernandez Header Seals Blues Win Over Spurs

London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham locked horns at Stamford Bridge to round off the 30th gameweek of the 2024/25 Premier League season on Thursday, and it was the Blues that looked likeliest to take advantage in the first period.

Perhaps the best chance of the half came the way of Jadon Sancho, whose last goal came against Spurs in December’s reverse fixture, but the Manchester United loanee was expertly denied by Guglielmo Vicario from close range.

Clearly on top despite a goalless scoreline at the break, it didn’t take long for Chelsea to break the deadlock in the second half. An inch-perfect Cole Palmer delivery from the left-hand side landed directly onto the head of an unmarked Enzo Fernandez in the middle, and the Argentine made no mistake in flicking home the opener.

10 minutes later, Fernandez’s midfield partner Moises Caicedo looked to have doubled the hosts’ lead with a thunderous first-time volley, however Levi Colwill was adjudged to have been offside, so the goal was chalked off.

Even more drama followed in the 71st minute as substitute Pape Matar Sarr’s long-range effort drew Tottenham level. Once again though, VAR was called into action and the goal was disallowed, this time for a foul in the buildup.

Thankfully for Enzo Maresca and co., the Blues clung on to a valuable three points, ensuring their return to the top four, while Spurs remain down in 14th place, level on points with the likes of Everton and West Ham.
