WWE superstar CM Punk proudly dons Celtic colours, reigniting his feud with Rangers fan Drew McIntyre.

The 46-year-old wrestling icon has made a habit of bringing Celtic into WWE, and his latest stunt in Glasgow has only added fuel to the fire.

CM Punk’s History with Celtic and McIntyre

Punk first sabotaged local hero Drew McIntyre’s World Heavyweight title match against Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle last July – Scotland’s first-ever premium live WWE event.

After the match, Punk appeared at the post-show press conference in a Celtic tracksuit, rubbing salt into the wounds of McIntyre.

Nine months later, the former WWE Champion returned to Scotland for Monday Night Raw, and once again, he’s chosen to troll McIntyre by embracing the Celtic colours.

CM Punk’s VIP Tour at Celtic Park

Before this week’s episode of Raw, Punk received VIP treatment at Celtic Park, where he was given a guided tour of the stadium, including the dressing room and trophy room.

In a video posted on Celtic’s social media pages, Punk was gifted a Hoops jersey with “Best in the World” printed on the back, alongside the number 1.

The WWE superstar posed with the shirt before taking a moment in the trophy room, and having a photo standing behind Celtic’s three domestic titles.

Celtic fans were lapping it up on social media.

The montage ended with him holding the Premiership trophy and quipping, “I gotta send this picture to Drew [McIntyre].”

CM Punk Rocks Celtic Kit at Monday Night Raw

Just before Raw in Glasgow, WWE posted a video of CM Punk wearing Celtic’s latest home shirt while promoting the new Legacy Title Belts collection.

The exclusive collection, released for pre-sale earlier this month, includes belts featuring top European clubs, including both Celtic and Rangers.

To no one’s surprise, Punk proudly showcased the Hoops belt, and while discussing the belt, he took another cheeky dig at McIntyre and Rangers.

“Everybody over here in Scotland loves me,” Punk said. “So it’s cool to be embraced by something so important to Scottish people and Scottish culture.

“I know there’s two teams here, but look at how beautiful this is. Does Drew (McIntyre) not like Celtic? That’s too bad…which is the superior team, Drew?”

Punk is now set to take on long-time rival Seth Rollins and former champion Roman Reigns in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41, which will take place over two nights at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, this April.
