Premier League Darts Night 13

More PDC World Matchplay arrows action from Blackpool on Friday night with two quarter-final matches that include world champion Luke Littler. After last night’s two winning wagers we are also back with our darts betting tips for both matches this evening.

Back them in singles – or perm them up in a nice 4/1 double. You decide.

On Thursday we were right to ‘Wade In’ on James Wade as he saw off Gian van Veen.

While even though Stephen Bunting lost to Jonny Clayton – we correctly said he’d get the most 180’s.

Landing the 11/4 double in the process – and we are back for more ahead of tonight’s two World Matchplay matches.

Friday’s Darts Betting Tips At World Matchplay: Luke to ‘Nuke’ Gilding and Gerwyn To Crush Rock

Luke Littler vs Andrew Gilding (20:05) 🎯

World champions Luke Littler had a scare in the previous round – coming from 7-2 down to eventually defeat the Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena 13-11 in a tie-break.

But that’s why ‘The Nuke’ is world champ – he can dig deep when he needs to and with fellow Luke (Humphries) out – the betting sites are making Littler the big favourite at Evs to win his first Matchplay title.

Next up for Littler is Andrew Gilding, who eased by Dirk van Duijvenbode 11-5 in the last round averaging 100 and recording a 55% hit-rate on the doubles.

Littler and Gilding have met three times before, with Luke having the 2-1 H2H edge and he can make that 3-1 here.

The betting odds are short on a Littler win at 1/10 – but we can bump those up by adding in Littler to also score the most 180’s and have the highest checkout at 4/6.

Something Littler managed in his last game with nine 180’s and the highest checkout (120).

Darts Betting Tip: Luke Littler Win, Highest Checkout and Most 180’s @4/6

Gerwyn Price v Josh Rock (21:30) 🎯

Tonight’s second World Matchplay quarter-final will be a lot closer – if the betting odds are to be believed.

The layers are making this a tight call, with in-form Gerwyn Price the slight favourite at 4/6, with Josh Rock on offer at 6/5.

Plus, the recent H2H record confirms this might be a close-run affair, with the pair locked at 2-2.

Welshman Gerwyn Price recorded a monster 108.73 average to see off Chris Dobey 11-3 last time and if in that form again we can expect Rock to crumble.

Josh Rock will certainly be no pushover though – based on his gutsy comeback win over three-time Matchplay champ Michael van Gerwen in the previous round.

Rock hit nine 180’s in that match and also landed the highest checkout (152).

However, he’s taking on Gerwyn Price at the top of his game at the moment and that recent 108 average is hard to get out of your head.

We’ll take Price to continue that form into this quarter-final and also score 10+ 180’s – he managed eight last time but will have extra game time in this longer match to get more.

Darts Betting Tip: Gerwyn Price To Win and Throw 10+ 180’s @2/1
