Arsenal’s now former sporting director, Edu, reportedly turned down a lucrative offer from the Gunners to join Nottingham Forest, aligning himself with club owner Evangelos Marinakis.
After five impactful years at the Emirates, Edu is preparing to take on an expanded, international role, overseeing recruitment for the Marinakis group’s clubs, which include Nottingham Forest, Greek powerhouse Olympiacos, and Portugal’s Rio Ave.
