England fans have called on Thomas Tuchel to regularly start Reece James for the Three Lions after his stunning goal against Latvia in Monday’s World Cup qualifier.
The Chelsea captain started his first game for England since September 2022. It was the same month that Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter at Chelsea.
James has been plagued by injuries ever since with the right-back position regularly taken by Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The 25-year-old showed reminded fans of his talents on Monday night with a stunning free-kick to break the deadlock in a 3-0 win.
Fans took to social media to rave about James’ goal – while others insisted that his performance was proof that he should start at right-back over Alexander-Arnold.
The Liverpool right-back missed this month’s international fixtures due to injury.

England Fans Call On James To Start Over Alexander-Arnold After Stunning Goal
England fans were left stunned by Reece James’ incredible goal against Latvia in their World Cup qualifier on Monday night.
He expertly struck his first-half free-kick which bended into the top corner. It has reignited debates over whether James or Alexander-Arnold should start at right-back for England.

England boss Tuchel is a huge admirer of James going back to his days as Chelsea manager.
However, James’ injuries have heavily hampered him in recent years. This season he has made just 14 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.
