The Barcelona ace jetted off to Italy for a luxurious holiday, with Vazquez accompanying him.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the most valuable player in the world, Lamine Yamal, took a vacation to Italy with Fati Vazquez. Vazquez and Yamal reportedly took part in a number of activities, including a boat trip, relaxing by the pool, and flying in a helicopter.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo has verified that they indeed vacationed together after cross-checking the images they posted just three days apart. This has led to speculation about a budding romance between the footballer and influencer.

Fati Vazquez, who reportedly went on a holiday with Lamine Yamal, is a flight attendant and a social media influencer. Vazquez, who is from Galicia in northwest Spain, has left his career in the aviation industry to become a full-time social media star.

Vazquez has around 394,000 followers on Instagram, and she also has YouTube and Twitter pages. Although she has over 1 million subscribers on YouTube, she has not posted a long-form video on the platform in more than three years.

Vazquez has also published a book about the bullying she endured during her teen years.

Gossip columnist Javi de Hoyos has claimed that Barcelona ace Lamine Yamal and Fati Vazquez are not in a relationship.

De Hoyos has claimed “he’s been able to speak to Lamine Yamal, and he categorically denies that he’s with her; he says they have nothing going on.”

De Hoyos also claimed that Yamal did not go on a vacation with her alone.

“Lamine didn’t go to this vacation spot alone, but with other Barça teammates,” he added.

While dismissing Yamal’s relationship rumours, De Hoyos said that Vazquez might have been dating some other Barca player.

“Probably, Fati does have something going on with someone at Barca or is a friend of another teammate,” he concluded.

La Masia ace Lamine Yamal went public with his TikTok star Alex Padilla after winning the 2024 European Championship with Spain. However, the relationship ended in July after a video of her sitting on a boy’s lap went viral.

In December, Yamal was spotted shopping with TikTok star Anna Gegnoso, sparking relationship rumours. The buzz has since died down, and Yamal is currently believed to be single.

Since the story broke about Lamine Yamal and Fati Vazquez, many social media users have hurled abuse towards the influencer. From moral policing to death threats, Vazquez has unfortunately had to endure a lot of distasteful comments and messages. Now, the Spaniard has spoken out.

“It’s sad to see how some people carry so much darkness inside that they get to wish death on someone they don’t even know,” she posted (translated) on Instagram on Tuesday.

“What others project speaks more about them than me. I choose to live with purpose, continue to grow and surround myself with light. To those who wish me evil, I wish them healing, because no one who is well with himself wishes to destroy another.”

With Yamal confirming he is not in a relationship with Vazquez, the abuse will hopefully stop in the coming days.
