Respected FPL tipping judge Gianni has revealed the eight players that are locked into his team as he uses his free hit for this weekend’s action.

Many are exploring using a Wildcard or Free Hit this week as they struggle to field 11 players but even as someone pulling the trigger on Free Hit, I don’t think it’s a brilliant week to chase upside.
Whilst there are a few standout fixtures, these games don’t scream ‘potential 4-0 win’ which is what you want when using a chip.
It is however the recruitment in the last few weeks that has made Free Hit 29 fairly powerful.
Bringing in Crystal Palace players in recent weeks, knowing it doesn’t matter that they blank in 29 has paid dividends.
I have locked in eight of my 11 players and only have two defenders and one midfield spot up for grabs in my team.
Everton benefit from having the highest clean sheet odds of the gameweek and Jordan Pickford is always good value for a save or two.
West Ham were poor at home to Newcastle and I fancy an Everton to nil win at the weekend.
At the back I like Josko Gvardiol, Diogo Dalot, Gabriel and Nottingham Forest’s defenders. However, the only defender I am set on currently is a Wolves wing back, likely Rayan Ait-Nouri over Nelson Semedo. Southampton concede goals for fun and these two are always high and wide.
Midfield And Forward FPL Options
The rest of the team has been easier to pick and in midfield I have Bruno Fernandes locked in. I owned him for his 17 points against Leicester in Gameweek 11 and I’m hoping he can produce against them again. He was unlucky not to brace against Arsenal and is clearly Manchester United’s talisman.
Justin Kluivert and Bryan Mbeumo are also in and I am hoping Bournemouth vs Brentford has goals. Both penalty takers are playing well and Kluivert is taking up some great positions playing as a second striker.
My fourth midfield spot is really tricky. I will likely punt on Phil Foden or Kevin De Bruyne if we get a team leak that one of them is starting, but I think I need that to back them as Pep roulette could sting.
I expect Brighton to attack so there should plenty of room for Foden and co at the Etihad. Elsewhere, Alejandro Garnacho and Emile Smith-Rowe are on my mind targeting the poor defences of Leicester and Spurs.
The forward positions have been the easiest to make. I am going for Evanilson, Chris Wood and Erling Haaland. Evanislon is back starting and Bournemouth are creating so many chances for him.
Wood is a shield pick knowing I don’t own him in my actual team and everything he has touched this season has turned to gold. Ipswich at home will take the game to Forest which will suit Wood as his team love to play on the counter.
Haaland will be my captain. Whilst City have underwhelmed this season, I quite like this match-up for Haaland against Brighton. I trust City to at least put a performance in at home.
