Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders has maintained his rise to prominence, getting £0.1 million more expensive in the latest FPL price changes for Gameweek 3.
On the other hand, Liverpool newcomer Florian Wirtz took an expected tumble. He once again failed to impress in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United, and lost £0.1 million as a result.
Chelsea forward Liam Delap, Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Arsenal forward Kai Havertz have also dropped in FPL price changes for Gameweek 3.
Reijnders and Wood See Price Hikes Again; Wirtz Falls
Dutch midfielder Reijnders, who joined from AC Milan in a £46.3 million deal, made his FPL debut with a price tag of £5.5 million. He did not have many takers at first. But through his impressive performances over the last two Matchdays, he has seen consecutive £0.1 million price hikes in FPL.
Reijnders, who Man City signed from AC Milan ahead of the Club World Cup, scored one goal and provided an assist on Matchday 1. He also put in a decent shift as Man City lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in their second game.

Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has also enjoyed consecutive price hikes like Reijnders, taking his price to £7.2 million. He scored a brace against Liverpool on opening day and put in a good shift as the Cherries beat Wolverhampton Wanderers on Matchday 2.
Joining them are Chris Wood and Richarlison. Both of them delivered impressive performances to earn a £0.1 million price bump for the second week running.
After Reijnders, Hugo Ekitike is the only other Premier League newcomer to get back-to-back upgrades. Having scored the opening goal on Matchday 1 against Bournemouth, Ekitike chipped in with another in the 3-2 victory over Newcastle United. He now costs a cool £8.7 million in FPL.
Alongside those mentioned above, Cody Gakpo, Erling Haaland, Mohammed Kudus, Gabriel, William Saliba, Riccardo Calafiori, Marc Cucurella, and Rayan Ait-Nouri have gotten more expensive in the last couple of days.
Liverpool’s record signing, Florian Wirtz, meanwhile, got his first price cut of the FPL season. The German midfielder failed to even create a goalscoring opportunity in the thrilling 3-2 win over Newcastle. He made way for Federico Chiesa in the 80th minute.
