If you triple captained Salah last week, congratulations on your 87 points. However, if you are triple captaining Salah this week, congratulations on your 80+ point haul.
If you activated the Assistant Manager chip last week and therefore can’t use Triple Captain this week (like me), my condolences.
We’re getting shafted once more this week.
Wolves have conceded 12 goals in their last 6, and Villa have kept 3 clean sheets all season, 2 of which were against Erik Ten Hag’s Man United and Sean Dyche’s Everton, so we don’t count those.

Yes, Liverpool conceded 2 goals last week, but that was largely down to the power of Goodison Park and the incompetence world-class refereeing of Michael Oliver.
Normal service should resume this week.
Wolves only scored once between GW20-23, and Villa’s 2nd highest goal scorer this season has just retired from professional football.
I’m also going out on a limb and saying that Trent should return to the starting XI. Nothing against Conor Bradley, but he was hauled off after 60 minutes and a yellow card v Everton and probably should have been sent off before that.
Time for Trent to show him how it’s done.

I would love to be adventurous and pick someone like Marcus Rashford here, but when you have a budget midfielder who is on penalties and averaging more than 11 points per game in the last 4 game weeks, you can’t ignore Justin Kluivert.
And just for extra motivation, Kluivert’s partner is due to deliver their baby this month. Justin Kluivert was born on 5 May 1999. On 2 May 1999, his dad Patrick Kluivert scored for Barcelona.
On 9 May 1999, 4 days after Kluivert Jr arrived, Patrick scored again for Barcelona. What I’m saying is that when babies are due, the Kluivert men are guaranteed to score. It’s science.

Jean Philippe-Mateta (£7.3m)
- Fixture: Everton (H)
Mateta had a busy summer.
While everyone else was enjoying their pre-season travels and building up fitness ahead of GW1, Mateta was off at the Paris Olympics, playing for the next best bald French striker of all time and leading the host nation to a silver medal.
That lack of a break seemed to hamper Mateta in the first half of the season, with just 4 goals in GW1-19. Things have started to click for him recently though, with 6 goals in his last 5.
He’s also established himself as Palace’s 1st choice penalty taker ahead of Eze.
Everton meanwhile will come into this fixture after a gruelling midweek derby against Liverpool and without their suspended midfield destroyer Abdoulaye Doucoure.
