Inoue vs Akhmadaliev Betting Tips

  • Naoya Inoue WIN via KO/TKO in Rounds 7-9 @ 13/5

When it comes to betting tips for the Naoya Inoue vs MJ Akhmadaliev this weekend at in Japan, there is certainly money to be made judging by the latest odds.

Yes, Inoue is a comprehensive favourite with boxing betting sites, but there is certainly still appealing odds on him to win via knockout or specific round betting.

If you’re an Akhmadaliev backer then the value is even better, with the Uzbek former world champion priced as high as 6/1 just to win the fight outright.

However, it is hard to look past another Inoue victory this weekend. Furthermore, as the odds suggest, there is a fair chance that ‘The Monster’ adds a 28th knockout and 12th successive stoppage to his impressive resume.

Akhmadaliev could well prove to be Inoue’s toughest test at super-bantamweight, but we still feel the Japanese superstar is levels above and will record yet another stoppage win.

If the knockout does come, we suspect it will be in the second half of the fight. Five of Inoue’s last seven knockouts have come in the second half, with three of these coming between rounds 7-9.

This is where we ultimately see the fight ending on Sunday afternoon, with Inoue knocking Akhmadaliev out in the third quarter of the contest. At odds of 13/5, this selection really appeals and presents great value for Inoue backers.

Naoya Inoue to WIN via KO/TKO in Rounds 7-9 @ 13/5

Like in our Canelo vs Terence Crawford betting tips, we are all about finding the best value for our readers at SportsCasting. This is why we have selected a group of three rounds for Naoya Inoue to win via KO/TKO in.

Although he may have shown slight sights of vulnerability of late, there is no doubting that Inoue is still one of the most fearsome punchers and devastating finishers in all of boxing.

The 32-year-old likes to take his time in the early rounds, downloading the data so to speak before getting to work on his opponent. We expect this to be the case against a tricky southpaw in Akhmadaliev, who may even have success early and be ahead at the half-way mark on the scorecards.

However, it doesn’t take long for Inoue to begin to break down his opponent round after round. He has stopped five of his last seven opponents in the second half of the fight, which is what we expect to happen again this weekend.

Add to that the fact that three of these stoppages have come between Rounds 7-9. With value in mind, backing Inoue to dispatch of his Uzbek challenger in the third quarter of the fight presents a real money-making opportunity for boxing bettors this Sunday.

Naoya Inoue’s next fight against MJ Akhmadaliev is one we are expecting him to win inside the distance once again. Expect the fight to go relatively late, with ‘The Monster’ ultimately getting the job done again via emphatic knockout.

Naoya Inoue vs Murodjon Akhmadaliev Preview

In what is a stacked weekend of boxing, one of the biggest fights of the weekend sees Naoya Inoue vs Murodjon Akhmadaliev go down for undisputed status in the super-bantamweight division.

This is a fight that has been talked about for some time now, with Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn calling for this fight for his man ‘MJ’ for years now. Hearn has had his wish granted, with Akhmadaliev finally getting his shot at ‘The Monster’.

Naoya Inoue’s record of 30-0 with 27 KO’s is one of the best in world boxing. Period. He is a concussive puncher and pound-for-pound star. However, he has been knocked down in two of his last four fights, with some fans feeling that the Japanese boxer is perhaps on the decline.

That being said, he is still elite and a huge favourite here. Akhmadaliev has just on loss on his record to Marlon Tapales, who Inoue then beat afterwards. However, there are a group of boxing fans who feel that the Uzbek powerhouse could pull off the upset this week.

If he does, he will not only become the first man to beat the great Inoue but also throwing his name into the p4p conversation in the process.

All eyes may be on Las Vegas for Canelo vs Crawford and Belfast for Crocker vs Donovan 2 on Saturday, but Sunday belongs to Inoue vs Akhmadaliev in a truly compelling clash for all the marbles at 122-pounds.
