World No 1 Jannik Sinner Reflects On A Historic 2024 Season Which Saw Him Win Two Grand Slam Titles
Jannik Sinner has opened up on his historical 2024 season which saw the Italian star claim his first Grand Slam titles.
Sinner was speaking ahead of the 2024 Nitto ATP Finals where he is set to face Alex de Minaur in Turin. The current World No 1 is aiming to go one better than last year where he lost to Novak Djokovic in the final.
Throughout the last 12 months, Sinner has proven he can consistently mix it with the best. As proven by the number of titles he has landed.
Sinner and rival Carlos Alcaraz are certainly the two best players on the planet at present. Especially with Rafa Nadal soon to retire and Djokovic winding down his glorious career.

“It’s a very, very high rating because I would never have imagined to win so many things this year. Many, many, many things have happened,” when asked how he would rate his year.
“Thinking back about how everything started in Australia, trying something new out without playing a tournament before and then starting straight into Australian Open.
“This all worked very, very well. For me, it’s always trying to improve as a person and a player and as a human being. Of all this, I’m even more proud and happy with how I’m evolving.
“Hopefully, next year is going to be this process of improvement and let’s see what I can catch.”
Overall in 2024, Jannik Sinner has won five singles titles which include a maiden Australian Open and US Open success. He also won the Miami Open, Cincinnati Open and Shanghai Masters.
Victory in Turin next week really would put the cherry on top of the cake for the 23-year-old superstar. 2025 promises to be a hugely exciting year for Sinner and his fans all over the world.
