YouTuber Joe Weller has stepped into the world of professional wrestling, with his sights set on WWE.
With over five million YouTube subscribers, Weller has long been associated with wrestling content, and now he is making moves inside the ring himself.
Weller took to social media to share a photo of himself in the ring with British independent wrestlers Danny Black and Joe Lando.
The caption read, “The road to WrestleMania begins… My first wrestling class.”
This post set the internet ablaze with speculation – could Weller be the next social media star to make it to WWE?

Joe Weller’s Wrestling Aspirations
Weller has openly expressed his interest in joining WWE, following in the footsteps of fellow influencers like Logan Paul, KSI, and IShowSpeed, who have all collaborated with the company in various ways.
Unlike some influencers who have made direct jumps to WWE, Weller wants to take a more traditional route, proving himself on the independent wrestling circuit before making the leap.
In an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Weller said, “I would love to. I genuinely would love to. So, I had the thought of doing the indie circuit and doing it like the respectable way and documenting that, and then hopefully WWE are like, ‘F***ing hell, you’re killing it on the indie scene, let’s get you in’.
“But yeah, I’d honestly love to. I think I’d be a good heel.”
Joe Weller and Logan Paul’s Connection to WWE
Weller was involved in the Sidemen Charity Match in March, where he took a suplex from Logan Paul as part of a goal celebration.

This may have further fuelled his desire to enter the world of professional wrestling, and he has since taken his first steps toward making it a reality.
Logan Paul has already found success in WWE, competing in major matches and even winning the United States Championship.
His rapid rise has set a precedent for influencers transitioning into pro wrestling, and Weller appears eager to follow suit.
Joe Weller’s Past WWE Experience: Triple H Incident
While Weller is now making a serious effort to join WWE, he once had a less-than-welcoming experience with the company.
Speaking on Impaulsive, he recalled an incident where Triple H kicked him out of a WrestleMania show.
“So I went to a WrestleMania, Paul Heyman was like, ‘I love your video’… and I’ll get you in at WrestleMania, you can stay in the WWE hotel. F***ing Triple H kicked me out. He was like, ‘Who’s this f***ing YouTuber? Get out of here.’ They were so not open to the YouTube stuff back then.”
With the success of Logan Paul, WWE are now far more welcoming to social media stars, meaning Weller’s journey could have a very different outcome today.

Could Joe Weller Actually Make It to WWE?
The biggest question now is: will Joe Weller make it to WWE?
Given WWE’s increasing collaboration with influencers and Weller’s determination to train properly before making the leap, his chances look promising.
If he successfully builds a name for himself on the independent wrestling scene, WWE could very well come calling.
