Jon Jones sent a message to UFC President Dana White as he pleads to headline next June’s UFC White House card on the South Lawn.
The greatest MMA fighter of all time retired from the sport back in June, but is desperate to represent the USA and headline next summer’s UFC White House card.
Jon Jones Begs Dana White For UFC White House Main Event Slot
Two-weight UFC champion and the single greatest MMA fighter to ever grace the octagon, Jon Jones, is hoping to get the call to headline UFC White House on June 14.
So far, UFC President Dana White hasn’t confirmed any fights for next year’s mammoth UFC event on the South Lawn.
The UFC White House card is pencilled in for June 14, which happens to be President Donald Trump’s birthday. The event is set to be a celebration of 250 years of American independence.
Although Jones retired back in June, he was quick to change his mind and make a total retirement U-turn as soon as he heard about the UFC White House card.

Jones has doubled down and was almost begging White for a slot on next summer’s UFC White House card.
As of yet, White is yet to confirm any plans for UFC White House and is keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to next summer’s ground-breaking event.
Speaking ringside at Dirty Boxing Championship 4 in Nashville on Thursday night, Jones pleaded with the UFC President to put him on the historic UFC White House card on the South Lawn next June.
“I really hope it happens. Dana. Bro, please bro. Please,” Jones said when asked about featuring on next year’s monumental UFC White House card.
“I’m training, I feel great, I’m healthy and I would be so honoured to represent our country and do what I do best,” concluded ‘Bones’.

Who Would Jon Jones Fight At UFC White House?
It remains to be seen just who will headline UFC White House on June 14, but Jon Jones is certainly an option.
Brendan Schaub named three potential opponents for Jones which included Francis Ngannou, Tom Aspinall and Alex Pereira.
Of these three potential match-ups for Jones, it seems that the Pereira fight has the best chance of happening.
The reigning UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion revealed in the aftermath of his UFC 320 victory that he would love to share the octagon with ‘Bones’, with this seemingly a perfect main event for UFC White House next summer.
In response to Pereira’s call-out, Jones took to social media and said it would be ‘an honour’ to fight ‘Poatan’ at the White House.
Alex, I’d be down to bring the highest skill level to the White House. I appreciate the respect you showed, let’s dance.

The fight would be at heavyweight, but the UFC Heavyweight Title won’t be on the line due to it still belonging to Tom Aspinall.
Dana White has previously stated that he has no interest in putting Jones on the UFC White House card, insisting that he is ‘unreliable’.
However, President Trump will likely have some pull and will want an American fighter to headline the UFC White House card. What better man to do so than the greatest MMA fighter to ever live?
