With President Donald Trump confirmed that UFC White House will go down on Sunday, June 14 on the South Lawn, MMA fans want to know who the headline fight will be.
Fighters such as Conor McGregor and Jon Jones have made no secret of their desire to headline UFC White House, with Dana White yet to confirm who will feature on the monumental fight card.
Who Will Headline UFC White House?
After President Donald Trump confirmed the UFC White House event will be going ahead on June 14 next year, fans are at fever pitch over who will headline the monumental card.
Trump revealed that UFC White House will be going ahead on Sunday, June 14 2026. This coincidentally coincides with Trump’s 80th birthday too.
“On June 14, next year, we’re going to have a big UFC fight at the White House, right at the White House grounds,” Trump said in a recent speech in Norfolk, Virginia.
It seems that UFC White House well and truly is a goer. However, as of yet no fights have been announced for the actual card.
It was previously rumoured that Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes was confirmed for the show, but there has been no talk of that fight since from either fighter nor Dana White himself.
The only thing that has been confirmed is the date itself and the venue of course. Official fights will be announced in due course, including who the headline act will be.
Several big names have made their intentions of headlining UFC White House clear, including the likes of Conor McGregor, Jon Jones and Ilia Topuria.
But who will actually headline the upcoming UFC White House event?
We take a look at five potential headline fights for UFC White House on Sunday, June 14 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
Potential UFC White House Headline Fights
Below are five potential UFC White House headliners for the once-in-a-lifetime MMA event staged on the South Lawn on Sunday, June 14.
Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler
Perhaps the most vocal fighter when it has come to talk of headlining the UFC White House card is Conor McGregor.
The former two-division UFC champion and MMA superstar hasn’t fought since July 2021 when he was defeated by Dustin Poirier in their trilogy bout.
The Irishman has teased a return to the octagon several times since, but seems deadly serious about returning to the cage to headline UFC White House next summer.
The 37-year-old is back in the testing pool and reportedly back in the gym too. He remains the most popular MMA fighter of all time, as well as being the most followed UFC fighter in the world despite his inactivity.
Should he fight headline UFC White House, lightweight contender Michael Chandler is the perfect opponent.

The pair have gone back and forth for years over a potential match-up, and what better way to finally settle their feud than in the cage on the South Lawn of the White House.
McGregor is confident he will top the card, even claiming that he has already signed a deal to fight Chandler in the main event. However, Dana White has denied these claims despite McGregor publicly saying so.
It remains to be seen whether Conor McGregor’s next fight will indeed be his return to headline UFC White House. If it is, we are in for a quite incredible night of action on June 14.

Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall
Another potential UFC White House headliner is the UFC Heavyweight Title fight between Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones.
Widely regarded as the greatest MMA fighter of all time, Jones recently retired from competition but quickly made a U-turn as soon as he heard rumblings of this potential fight card at the White House.
Jones’ UFC White House comeback fight has been much talked about, with ‘Bones’ himself revealing on X (formerly Twitter) that he was also re-entering the UFC testing pool.
Just re-entered the testing pool, that lasted for about two weeks. Figured we’d keep everyone’s options open.

Since then, Jones has mentioned on countless occasions his desire to headline UFC White House. In terms of an opponent, facing the current heavyweight champion seems a real possibility.
That being said, Aspinall was chasing the Jones fight for over a year before the American MMA legend eventually retired. Whether or not Aspinall wants to go through the whole Jones drama again is another question.
UFC President Dana White has also stated that he can’t reply on Jones, so won’t be having him headline UFC White House.
However, he is the greatest MMA fighter of all time so having Jon Jones’ next fight as the UFC White House headliner might be something President Donald Trump wants.
Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira
Another super-fight that could headline UFC White House is a match-up between Jon Jones and Alex Pereira.
Jones is of course widely regarded as the greatest MMA fighter of all time, whilst Pereira is currently one of the biggest stars in the sport.
With Jones confirming he wants to fight at the White House on numerous occasions, a super-fight against two-division king ‘Poatan’ is a mouth-watering match-up.

Unless Alex Pereira’s next fight is a defence of his UFC Light-Heavyweight Title, there is a genuine possibility that he moves up to heavyweight.
After defeating Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 in their rematch, Pereira revealed he wanted to call out ‘Bones’ but refrained from doing so out of respect. This is due to Jones’ brother Arthur passing away just days prior.
Jones vs Pereira is a genuine super-fight between two pure phenoms. If it happens, it could go down in history as the single biggest fight in UFC history. Period.
Ilia Topuria vs Paddy Pimblett
One of the biggest fights in the UFC today is a UFC Lightweight Title battle between champion Ilia Topuria and popular contender Paddy Pimblett.
The pair have had numerous back and forth in person and on social media over the years, with both fighters confident they would silence the other if they ever faced off in the octagon.
Some eagle-eyed fans though Ilia Topuria vs Paddy Pimblett was confirmed for later this year, but that is no longer the case with both men having different fights in the interim.
With Conor McGregor and Jon Jones vocal about headlining UFC White House, Topuria has been fairly loud about the prospect of headlining the event too.
In a recent social media post, Topuria wrote: “Who wants to bet with me that I’m the main event at the White House?”
Who wants to bet with me that I’m the main event at the White House?
— Ilia Topuria (@Topuriailia) September 25, 2025
Although no fights have been confirmed as of yet, it seems that Topuria vs Pimblett would make sense as a headline act. At the end of the day, Topuria is the current pound-for-pound #1 and one of the biggest stars in the sport.
If the fight does happen, it would be a quite thrilling build-up. There is genuine hatred between Pimblett and the current 155-pound king, which would make for a truly compelling bout in the cage.
With Ilia Topuria vs Justin Gaethje confirmed for UFC 324, ‘El Matador’ could well then defend his 155-pound belt again in the summer at the White House against ‘The Baddy’.
Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes
The fifth and final potential UFC White House headliner is a women’s super-fight between Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes.
Harrison is the reigning UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, meanwhile Nunes is widely regarded as the greatest female MMA fighter of all time. A match-up between the pair is a truly incredible clash if it comes to fruition.
As a former two-time Olympic gold medallist in judo, Harrison has pedigree and certainly bring some star quality to the table. She is also the only American-born UFC champion on the current roster.
Fresh off the back of her UFC 316 demolition of Juliana Pena, Harrison and Nunes shared a face-off in the centre of the cage which got fans dreaming of a super-fight next year.

Harrison has revealed she wants to get back in the octagon sooner rather than later, so may well have a fight in the interim before facing ‘The Lioness’ in the UFC White House main event next June.
Nunes is the only fight that makes sense for a UFC White House headline slot if Kayla Harrison is involved. Any other fight involving the reigning 135-pound women’s queen may feel somewhat underwhelming.
However, Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title on the South Lawn of the White House is most definitely a credible headliner.
