Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has placed the third-highest bet recorded on Super Bowl LX so far, placing a $1 million wager on the Seattle Seahawks to cover a -3.5 points spread.
The NBA star laid the bet following a public exchange with former girlfriend Kendall Jenner over Instagram.
Jenner has just appeared in a TV ad for Fanatics Sportsbook in which she can be seen deciding who to bet on to win Super Bowl LX on February 8.
At first it appeared as if Booker was joking when he said he’d “bet a million” on the Seahawks.
A post appeared on his Instagram Stories feed later showing a Fanatics Sportsbook slip with details of a $1 million bet.
American odds differ from the UK format where negative represents the favourite and positive the underdog.
Booker is one of the highest paid players on the NBA roster for 2025-26 with an annual salary of just over $51.1 million.

Jenner refers to the “Kardashian Kurse” in which her former boyfriends who also happen to have been NBA stars, suddenly find a loss of form and fortune.
She explains that one former partner missed the playoffs after they had got together.
“I guess nobody’s getting a ring in this house,” says Kardashian.
It’s a double play on the NBA championship ring awarded to the winners and an engagement ring.
The ad ends with Jenner on a private jet while hovering over a choice of the Patriots or Seattle on the sportsbook’s app.
“You can bet with me or against me on Fanatics Sportsbook.”
Booker replied to her on Instagram from his personal account @dbook.
“I bet a million the Seahawks get that ring before you do @kendalljenner.”
That initially appeared to be a bit of flirtatious fun, but the NBA star backed it up later by posting his £1 million betting slip.

Super Bowl LX sees Seattle Seahawks tackle New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on February 8.
Both teams arrive with 14-3 records for the season.

Top dollar as of January 30 is a Caesar’s sportsbook customer who has placed $2 million on the AFC team to win.
The Patriots are this season’s AFC representatives.
At odds of +100 the punter stands to double their money with a potential $2 million net win.
Second in the millionaire’s club is a Circa Sports customer who has backed the Patriots at +188 with a cool $1.1 million stake.
That would produce winnings of a little over $2 million.
Booker completes the trio of seven-figure bettors with his $1 million on Seahawks to cover the -3.5 spread.
Whether it was done as a joke or as a serious punt we may never know.
If successful it would earn the NBA star $800,000 in winnings.
