Leicester City kickstart their Championship season with a home clash against Sheffield Wednesday, with their full fixture schedule now confirmed for 2025-26.
Leicester Open Season vs Sheffield Wedneday As Championship Fixtures Revealed
Recently-relegated Leicester City side mark their return to the Championship with a home tie against Sheffield Wednesday. The game will be played on Sunday, 10 August, at 16:30.
Their first away trip of the campaign sees them travel to Deepdale to take on Preston North End the following Saturday.
The Foxes host Midlands rivals Coventry City on Saturday, 20 September, with the reverse fixture at the Coventry Building Society Arena scheduled for Saturday, 17 January.
Other notable clashes include Wrexham at home on Tuesday, 30 September, Southampton away on Tuesday, 25 November, and Sheffield United at home on Saturday, 29 November.
Leicester are scheduled to take on Watford at the King Power on Boxing Day, while their away trip to Bramall Lane to take on Sheffield United has been selected for New Year’s Day.
The Foxes end the regular season away at Blackburn Rovers in early May.
It is reported that Ruud van Nistelrooy will soon be relieved of his duties at the club, with Sean Dyche currently leading as the favourite in the next Leicester manager odds market.
