Ahead of Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off, we have the Leicester vs Arsenal preview, prediction, latest team news and confirmed lineups.
Leicester Vs Arsenal Preview
After last week’s controversial defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup, Leicester will continue their fight for Premier League survival.
The Foxes took the lead at Old Trafford thanks to a Bobby De Cordova-Reid strike in the first-half. Joshua Zirkzee equalised after the interval before Harry Maguire netted an injury-time winner.
Prior to the Cup loss, the Foxes were on the receiving end of a 4-0 trouncing by Everton. Beto netted a brace with Abdoulaye Doucoure and Iliman Ndiaye netting the other goals at Goodison Park.
That crushing defeat leaves Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side in 18th position. As it stands, the Blues are two points off Wolves who are just outside of the relegation zone.
Leicester’s task doesn’t get any easier when they welcome Mikel Arteta’s title chasers to the King Power Stadium. In the reverse fixture, then-boss Steve Cooper saw his side lose 4-2 in North London.

Arsenal were dealt another injury blow during their trip to Dubai for some warm weather training. German star Kai Havertz tore his hamstring and is set to miss the remainder of the campaign.
The Gunners are seriously low on attackers with Ethan Nwaneri, Leandro Trossard and Raheem Sterling the only fit players Mikel Arteta can call upon.
It’s likely that some academy players will at least be on the bench in the East Midlands this weekend. Nathan Butler-Oyedeji is one name that has been tipped for an inclusion.
Last time out in the league, Arteta’s men thumped faltering champions Manchester City. That victory and Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Everton have reignited the title hopes at the Emirates.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash, the best football betting sites in the UK price Arsenal as the 31/100 favourites. Leicester can be backed at 11/1 with the draw 5/1.
Leicester Vs Arsenal Team News
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed that Jamie Vardy, Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen all trained this week.
Therefore, the trio are available for selection and Vardy in particular is likely to start. The 2016 Premier League winner has scored 11 times against the Gunners during his top-flight career.
Ricardo Pereira is still a few weeks away from a return whereas Abdul Fatawu won’t feature again this season. The Ghanaian international suffered a serious knee injury at the back end of 2024.
Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling is set for a rare Arsenal start owing to the injury troubles that have ripped through the club currently.
The former England star will start up top alongside Ethan Nwaneri and Leandro Trossard. Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz will all be missing.
The same applies to Takehiro Tomiyasu who may require surgery on his injured knee. However, Ben White is almost ready to return and may make the matchday squad.

Leicester Vs Arsenal Prediction
Despite Arsenal’s injury problems up top, the Gunners will still have far too much firepower to down Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes have been very poor on home soil in recent weeks and we fully expect that to still be the case come 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon.
Prediction: Leicester 0-3 Arsenal
