Max Holloway Next Fight - UFC

The Max Holloway next fight will likely see the former UFC featherweight king make a permanent move to 155-pounds. Read on to find out when Holloway’s next fight is and what his options are moving forward in the UFC.

Max Holloway Next Fight: Who Is The Former UFC Featherweight King Fighting Next?

Despite being just 32-years-old, Max Holloway is widely regarded as an MMA veteran and somewhat of a stalwart of the UFC. He has fought 34 times in his career, including 30 fights under the UFC banner. Max Holloway’s record is an impressive 26-8, which consists of 12 knockout victories too.

He has shared the octagon with a ‘who’s who’ of star names, including the likes of Conor McGregor, Alexander Volkanovski three times, Jose Aldo twice, Charles Oliveira, Ilia Topuria and Anthony Pettis to name but a few.

UFC fans last saw Max Holloway in action at UFC 308, where he lost to champion Ilia Topuria for the 145-pound world crown. This was the first time Holloway had ever been defeated via knockout, with a permanent move to lightweight now looking likely for the Hawaiian.

UFC President Dana White will be hoping for Holloway to get back to winning ways in 2025, that is for sure. ‘Blessed’ is still widely regarded as one of the biggest names in the entire sport of MMA and still has so much to give in the UFC. Just look at his performance at UFC 300 against Justin Gaethje two fights ago. The man is still a phenom.

In regards to Max Holloway’s next fight, it is unknown who he will face. One thing is for sure, he has plenty of options. A trilogy with Dustin Poirier would make sense at lightweight, or perhaps even a fight with the likes of Charlies Oliveira, Dan Hooker or Michael Chandler.

If Holloway does move to 155-pounds for good, he has plenty of options on the table. No matter who he fights next, the best UK betting sites will probably favour Holloway, he is just that good. Time will tell what Max Holloway’s next move will be in 2025.

Could Max Holloway Rematch Conor McGregor In 2025?

Max Holloway’s next fight is one that fans are unsure on. It is tricky to pinpoint one name who ‘Blessed’ shout fight, but he most definitely isn’t short of options. Who he actually faces remains to be seen, but there are so many big names in the stacked 155-pound weight class.

Several different fights make total sense for the Hawaiian, including a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier. Not to mention a potential rematch fight with former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. Other names such as Dan Hooker, Michael Chandler and some others at lightweight also make sense.

Another contest that could come to fruition for Holloway could be his rematch with Conor McGregor. The pair fought way back in 2013 before either were household names in the UFC. However, a fight between McGregor and Holloway would be a sensational pay-per-view event in 2025 at lightweight. Perhaps even for Holloway’s BMF Title.

At 32-years-old, Max Holloway still has plenty to give the sport. He may have had 30 fights in the UFC, but he is still a young, fresh man with a lot to offer. He could even win UFC gold in a second weight class he is that good. The Islam Makhachev fight would be a tough one, but one that Holloway would feel he can win.

The best UFC betting sites in the UK have written Holloway off plenty of times before after defeats, but he has continued to come back even stronger. The same could happen again for ‘Blessed’, as he looks to rebuild following his defeat to Ilia Topuria last time out. 2025 could be another promising year for the Hawaiian MMA phenom.
