Max Homa leaves Titleist as Cobra Golf announce signing of Ryder Cup star

Cobra Golf have announced the signing of Ryder Cup star Max Homa following his departure from Titleist.

Homa, a six-time PGA Tour winner, penned a multi-year endorsement deal with Cobra Puma Golf and he’ll be in action with his new clubs and footwear starting this week at The Sentry.

The 34-year-old will start the season at number 41 on the Official World Golf Ranking and as per the best golf betting sites, he’s a 16/1 chance to win a major in 2025.

The California native and Berkeley graduate will also no longer be seen in FootJoy apparel on the course, having agreed a deal with lifestyle brand Lululemon as an ambassador.

“Throughout the testing process, I was incredibly impressed with the performance of the clubs, and I think they will truly give me a competitive advantage,” Homa said.

Homa will play with Cobra clubs through the bag besides his putter, which will remain a Scotty Cameron – and he will also continue to use the Titleist Pro V1x ball.

Dan Ladd, president of Cobra Puma Golf, said:

“Max is a great talent who is very popular with fans and players alike. He demands the highest level of performance from his equipment, and we’ve been excited to introduce him to our new DS-Adapt line of products as well as our ability to develop 3D-printed irons precisely for his needs.

“Max also has a great personality and is a perfect fit for the Cobra Puma golf family. We couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the team.”

Homa, who has earned nearly $28 million in official prize money across his career so far, posted a career-best major performance when finishing in a tie for third at The Masters in 2024.

His last win on the PGA Tour came in January 2023 at the Farmers Insurance Open and he’s priced at 50/1 to win a green jacket at Augusta National this spring.
