Scott McTominay continued to plunder Serie A goals at the weekend with a double for Napoli in the 2-2 draw at league leaders Inter Milan.

His strikes also secured the final leg of a 13-match accumulator for a Betfair customer, who landed £9,400 from a £25 bet.

The football punter had selected 13 games across last weekend and backed both teams to score (BTTS) in each match.

It is the second big win of the year so far with the popular sportsbook.

Another Betfair customer scooped £174,000 from an NFL accumulator following the end of the regular season on January 4.

How The 13-Game Acca Struck Gold

Choosing BTTS when betting has become a popular way of building an acca as it is a simple yes or no answer.

The punter looked at last weekend’s fixtures and made selections across the FA Cup, the English National League and Scotland’s Championship.

They saved the biggest and best games for last, with two high-profile showdowns on Sunday evening.

First to kick-off was the Spanish Super Cup final between fierce rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

That was followed by a top-of-the-table showdown in Serie A featuring Inter Milan and Napoli.

10-Man Aldershot’s Late Consolation

The acca seemed to have fallen at the first hurdle on Saturday afternoon.

Aldershot were 5-0 down at home to Solihull Moors in the National League with 19 minutes to go.

At that point things got worse as Christy Grogan received two yellow cards in quick succession and was sent-off.

With just five minutes remaining, 10-man Aldershot’s Josh Barrett lobbed the goalkeeper for a goal which kept the acca on track.

The 5-1 defeat was grim viewing for Shots fans but kept a winning smile on the Betfair punter’s face.

Sunday Showdowns Seal £9,400 Win

Sunday’s FA Cup tie at Old Trafford also needed an 85th-minute goal to keep the acca alive.

Danny Welbeck put Brighton in the driving seat just after the hour mark, giving the visitors a 2-0 lead over Manchester United.

Benjamin Sesko’s late header for the Red Devils in the 2-1 defeat took the acca through to the evening.

El Clasico did not disappoint and after a madcap rush of three goals in first-half stoppage time, Barca and Real were level 2-2 at the break.

Barcelona retained the Supercopa de Espana with Raphina’s 73rd-minute winner, but by then the bettor had turned their attention to Serie A.

Inter were soon 1-0 up at home to Antonio Conte’s Napoli through Federico Dimarco on nine minutes.

That left the visitors needing to score to complete the 13-game BTTS acca.

Up stepped Serie A’s player of the year for 2025-26 Scott McTominay.

Just before the half-hour mark the super Scot finished neatly from close range to level the game and seal the acca.

McTominay came to Napoli’s rescue again in the second half, scoring an 81st minute equaliser in the 2-2 draw.
