Underrated Liverpool Star is Among the Most In-Form FPL Players Ahead of Gameweek 8

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is the third most in-form player in FPL right now, with only Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo edging him.

Despite his impressive run, Gravenberch remains a differential pick, with just over 6% of Fantasy managers selecting him to their 15-man roster.

What Does ‘Form’ Mean in FPL?

Total points scored is arguably the most important metric in FPL. However, it does not necessarily reveal which of them are enjoying a purple patch and are likely to contribute with valuable points in the coming Gameweeks.

To determine in-form players, we take a look at how they performed in the matches played over the last month. The average of the points they accumulated over the period is their “Form.”

Haaland, Semenyo, and Gravenberch are the Most In-Form FPL Players

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been absolutely flying this season. The two-time Golden Boot winner has scored nine goals in seven matches and has a chart-topping 70 points in FPL.

He has scored 33 points in his last three games (average 11.0) and is the most in-form player in FPL.

Next up is Bournemouth man Antoine Semenyo, who has easily been the standout player in the Premier League this season. The winger has scored six goals and provided three assists in only seven matches. Only Haaland has scored more goals than Semenyo in 2025/26.

Semenyo travels to Selhurst Park on Matchday 8, and according to Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth betting tips and odds, he is one of the favourites to score.

The 25-year-old has scored 66 points in FPL so far, with 30 (form 10.0) coming in the last month.

In third place, we have Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch with a current FPL form of 8.3. The Dutch midfielder has scored 37 points in six matches, with 25 of those coming in three matches over the last month.

Interestingly, Gravenberch, with 37 points, is also the highest scoring player for Liverpool. Mohamed Salah, who started the season as the most expensive player in FPL, has scored only 34 points.

Due to his poor form, Salah has become one of the most transferred out FPL players ahead of Gameweek 8.
