Most World Title Fights On One Card In Boxing History

Often in boxing we see cards with several world title fights on the same night. This is a fairly common occurrence in the sport, but exactly what is the most world title fights on one card in boxing history?

Boxing fans are asking themselves this question ahead of The Ring IV: Night of the Champions on Saturday night, with four world title fights on the same night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Some fans have even speculated that this card could break all records with the most world title fights on one individual card, but that isn’t the case. After extensive research, SportsCasting can reveal the most world title fights on one card is in fact eight.

Although His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has helped stage four world title fights on one night this weekend, he still has plenty of work to do if he is to match the December 13, 2003 ‘Night of the Undisputed’ card put on by veteran boxing promoter Don King.

Night of the Undisputed was headlined by Bernard Hopkins vs William Joppy for the WBC, IBF, WBA and Ring Magazine undisputed world middleweight title belts. Prior to the Hopkins vs Joppy main event there were seven more world title fights on the same card.

The seven other world title fights on the Night of the Undisputed card were fought across different weight classes. This ranged from light-flyweight (108-pounds) right up to heavyweight.

King also promoted a fight card on September 17, 1994 with six world title fights on the bill. This was headlined by Julio Cesar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor 2 and took place in Las Vegas.

Below is the full detailed card for Night of the Undisputed which still holds the record for the most world title fights on one card in boxing history.

‘Night of the Undisputed’ Full Card – December 13, 2003

Luis Alberto Perez vs Felix Machado Super-Flyweight IBF

The Ring IV Has Four World Title Fights On One Single Card On November 22

With four world title fights on The Ring IV: Night of the Champions on Saturday, November 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, it is undoubtedly one of the best nights of boxing action in recent memory on paper.

Whether or not the fights themselves live up to the hype remains to be seen, but there are four world title fights across four different weight classes at The Ring IV this weekend.

The Ring IV is of course headlined by David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde for the WBA World Light-Heavyweight Title. Prior to the main event there are three further world title fights, one of which is a unification bout too.

Brian Norman Jr vs Devin Haney goes down for the WBO World Welterweight Title, with Abdullah Mason vs Sam Noakes also competing for the WBO World Lightweight Title.

The only unification fight on The Ring IV bill sees Jesse Rodriguez vs Fernando Martinez collide for the Ring Magazine, WBC, WBA and IBF World Super-Flyweight Titles.

With four world title fights on one card, this makes The Ring IV one of the most stacked boxing cards in history in terms of elite level action.

However, it doesn’t quite match the eight world title fights on the Night of the Undisputed card on December 13, 2003 where there were eight world title fights on the same card at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

That being said, The Ring IV features some of the most followed boxers on Instagram so could well do huge numbers on DAZN PPV.

Most World Title Belts Contested On A Single Boxing Card

After an announcement that shook the boxing world on November 17, the Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul rules for their eight-round heavyweight professional bout have been revealed ahead of their December 19 showdown in Miami.

Although he has a career of his own inside the ring, Jake Paul is also a major influence in the world of female boxing as a promoter. It is in fact one of Paul’s shows that holds the record for the most world title belts contested on a single boxing card.

Although Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Paul claim their all-female card on July 11, 2025 headlined by the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano trilogy had 21 world title belts up for grabs, it actually had 17.

Regardless of the number itself, this ground-breaking card still holds the record for the most world title belts contested on a single boxing card in history.

It currently holds a Guinness World Records title for the most championship belts contested on a single fight card for the ceiling-breaking event at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Taylor vs Serrano 3 of course had the undisputed women’s super-lightweight world titles up for grabs, with 13 other world title belts up for grabs across five undercard bouts.

It’s fair to say that Jake Paul has worked wonders for women’s boxing, and also holds the record as a promoter for the most world title belts contested on a single boxing card.
