Newbury Racecourse has agreed an expanded sponsorship deal with BOYLE Sports that includes two new dedicated race days for the family-run bookmaker.
BOYLE Sports will be title sponsor for the meetings on January 14 and February 17 and put their name to three races on each card.
This builds on the three-year deal established last March when they became headline partner for the Group one BOYLE Sports Lockinge Stakes, Newbury’s flagship Flat racing event.
There was a thrilling finish to 2025’s Lockinge as Lead Artist ridden by Oisin Murphy edged out favourite Dancing Gemini by a neck.
BOYLE Sports And Irish Racing
Ireland’s largest independent bookie has an impressive stable of major partnerships supporting domestic racing.
An agreement with Horse Racing Ireland will see the firm retain title sponsorship of the BOYLE Sports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse until at least 2027.
The sportsbook is also title sponsor of the Munster National at Limerick Racecourse.
The two-day October racing festival in Limerick will feature the BOYLE Sports brand until at least 2028.
Expanding Presence In Britain
Liam McKee, Head of Sponsorship at BOYLE Sports, was naturally enthusiastic about the new deal.
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Newbury Racecourse and continue building on what has become a hugely valued relationship.
“Adding two dedicated BOYLE Sports race days to our support of the Lockinge gives us another fantastic platform to engage with racing fans.”
BOYLE Sports was established in 1982 by owner and chairman John Boyle.
They are presently the front-of-shirt sponsor and official betting partner of Premier League club West Ham United.
Chance To Engage With Jump And Flat Racing Fans
Jordan Coates, Sales and partnership Director for the Berkshire course, heralded the new collaboration.
“We’re excited to see BOYLE Sports have a greater presence at Newbury Racecourse,” he said.
“It will see them have the title rights to two of our National Hunt fixtures.
“As BOYLE Sports continue to grow in the UK we’re really pleased that we can be part of that journey, with the flagship event coming in the shape of our Group one race day in May, The BOYLE Sports Lockinge Day.
“The two additional fixtures will give both our jumps and flat audience the opportunity to engage with BOYLE Sports.”
