Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has no new injury concerns heading into Saturday’s clash. Defenders Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles remain long-term absentees.

Rodri will be the most glaring omission for Manchester City. The Spanish midfielder suffered a knee ligament injury and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

Therefore, manager Pep Guardiola will need to decide which of his players are best suited to replace the Ballon d’Or contender. Mateo Kovacic is the most obvious choice.
