Norwich City have made an offer to sign Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh, who was on the scoresheet in their Champions League clash with Manchester City on Tuesday night.
The Championship side want to bolster their strikeforce and improve their chances of remaining in the second tier.
Norwich currently occupy the final relegation spot and sit one point behind Portsmouth and Blackburn, although they have played more games.
Only five teams have scored fewer than their 30 league goals this season, and they’ve relied heavily on the form of the impressive Javon Makama.
Kasper Hogh Could Replace Josh Sargent
According to Mike McGrath, Norwich have made their first move to sign Hogh, and it is now down to the Norwegian side to decide whether to cash in.
Hogh, 25, scored 17 goals in 28 league games for his team in the 2025 campaign as Glimt finished second in the Eliteserien.
He’s also featured heavily in the Champions League and advertised his talent by scoring a brace against Premier League giants Manchester City on Tuesday night.
Two goals that helped Bodo/Glimt stun City with a 3-1 home win.

Høgh joined Bodø/Glimt in January 2024 and has since established himself as a vital part of their attacking line. During their Europa League run last season, he scored seven goals in 14 games.
He is often described as a poacher or a pressing forward and is known for his high work rate and efficiency inside the penalty area.
If Norwich can get a deal over the line, it will open up a move for Sargent to depart as he angles for a move to Toronto.
Sargent was left out of the squad in the victory over Wrexham at the weekend and is currently training with the Under-21s as he looks to force a move.
Potential Competition For Kasper Hogh
Norwich could face competition from Swansea for Hogh, should they lose striker Zan Vipotnik during the January transfer window.
The in-form Slovenian international is attracting the interest of Premier League suitors with reports linking him with West Ham and Nottingham Forest.
Vipotnik was on target for his 11th Championship goal of the season in their 1-1 draw with Birmingham on Saturday, and is now tied with Adam Armstrong for the joint-most goals in the league.
If Swansea do lose their key man, they may make a move for Hogh should he still be on the market.
Vipotnik was quizzed on his future before the January window opened in which he responded: “It’s nice to hear because everyone is dreaming of playing somewhere, but I’m focused on Swansea.
“It’s December. I want to score as many goals as I can and I hope that in the next game I’ll score again to help the team win, and we’ll see what happens.”
