The Greek side finished the first-leg with 10 men at Ibrox, after Giorgos Vagiannidis saw a second yellow in the 58th minute.
On Wednesday, Panathinaikos will aim to nullify Rangers’ two-goal cushion in Athens.
They will be without right-back Vagiannidis, who is closing in on a move to Premier League side Everton. Anastasios Bakasetas is also likely to miss out after picking up an injury in the first leg.

That said, a victory is not enough to take them to the next round in the Champions League qualifying.
As they must still overturn the 2-0 deficit from the first leg.
