Six nominees have been shortlisted for Young Player of the Year at the upcoming PFA Awards.
Included on the shortlist are new Chelsea striker Liam Delap and Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly.
They are joined by Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rodgers, Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and former Cherries defender Dean Huijsen.
Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri completes the nominees.
Six Young Players Nominated For PFA Awards
Delap, 22, joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town after impressing despite his former side’s relegation.
He arrived in a £30 million deal, having scored 12 Premier League goals for the Tractor Boys last season.
Myles Lewis-Skelly scored on his international debut to cap off an impressive breakthrough season with the Gunners.
The 18-year-old netted against Albania in March, winning the man-of-the-match award.
Gunners teammate Nwaneri, 17, made 37 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side, scoring nine goals.
Spanish international Huijsen has since joined Real Madrid after having such an excellent year at Bournemouth.
And Cherries full-back Kerkez is also attracting significant interest, with several top clubs keen on making the Hungarian one of their Premier League summer transfers, including champions Liverpool.
Morgan Rogers provided an incredible 29 total goal involvements for Aston Villa.
Unai Emery’s men narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification, but had another impressive season.

When Are The PFA Awards?
This year’s PFA awards will be held on 19 August in Manchester.
The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) is the trade union for professional footballers in England and Wales.
Founded in 1907, the PFA has around 5,000 current members, including Premier League, EFL and Women’s Super League stars.
Since 1974, the PFA have given three three awards to individual who have contributed to the game throughout a season.
The Players’ Player, Young Player and Merit Award were then followed by the Team of the Year Award.
And in 2001, a Fans’ Player of the Year Award was also created.
Then in 2013 and 2013, Women’s awards were created for Players’ Player and Young Player of the Year.
Who Has Won PFA Young Player Of The Year Award?
Previous mens’ Young Player of the Year Award winners include Cristiano Ronaldo, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford.
The first ever winner of the Young Player award was former Ipswich Town defender, Kevin Beattie.
Only five players in history have ever won PFA Young Player of the Year more than once.
They are Ryan Giggs (1992, 1993), Robbie Fowler (1995, 1996), Wayne Rooney (2005, 2006), Dele Alli (2016, 2017) and Phil Foden (2021, 2022).
In 2007, Cristiano Ronaldo won a clean sweep of possible awards.
As well as the PFA Young Player award, the former Manchester United superstar also scooped the Players’ Player, Football Writers’ Association Player, Fans’ Player and Premier League Player of the Season awards.
