Arsenal Season Ticket Holders Paying Almost £40 Per Premier League Goal At The Emirates This Season

As the Premier League season approaches its conclusion, we’ve calculated the cost per goal scored for each club’s season ticket holders—with some fans getting far more for their money.
Premier League season tickets are getting more expensive each year, with clubs charging anywhere from £345-£1,073 for the cheapest adult tickets in 2024/25.
But while supporters of some clubs see plenty of goals for their hard-earned cash, others pay a premium to watch their team score.
To see which clubs are short-changing their season ticket holders, we at SportsCasting have calculated the cost per goal in the Premier League so far this campaign.
We have taken the cheapest adult season ticket price for each club and divided it by the total league goals scored at home this season, with some surprising results.
Bottom club Southampton have the worst cost-per-goal ratio, but second-placed Arsenal are the next-worst side.
Manchester City have the lowest cost per goal for season ticket holders, despite sitting fifth in the table.
And both West Ham and Brentford have a better cost per goal figure than table-toppers Liverpool, though for very different reasons.

Arsenal Fans Paying Nearly £40 Per Goal At The Emirates
Despite sitting second in the Premier League table and reaching the Champions League quarter-finals, Arsenal supporters have been ripped off this season compared to rival fans.
Season ticket holders at the Emirates have witnessed 28 Premier League goals from their side, the fifth-most of any team.
But with the cheapest adult season ticket costing more than £1,000, that works out at £38.32 per goal.
Only basement-dwellers Southampton have given their fans worse value for money with their home goal record.
Manchester City Offering The Best Value For Money
It’s been a season to forget for Manchester City fans.
Out of the Champions League already and 22 points below Premier League leaders Liverpool, their only remaining chance of silverware is the FA Cup.
But their form has disappointed, City have at least provided their season ticket holders with great value for money so far.
With 30 Premier League goals scored at the Etihad, City Season ticket holders have paid £14.17 per goal – the lowest figure in the league.
At £425, City’s cheapest adult season ticket is among the most affordable in the Premier League, softening the blow of their otherwise mediocre campaign.
Saints Fans Might As Well Stay At Home
With just two Premier League wins and nine points from 29 games, Southampton are on course to break Derby County’s points record and become the worst team in Premier League history.
The sorry Saints have one win and a draw from 14 league games at St. Mary’s, scoring just 10 goals.
This means that their cheapest adult season ticket costing a very reasonable £479, fans have still had to pay a whopping £47.90 for every goal Southampton have scored at home this year.
That’s by far the highest figure in the Premier League – almost £10 more per goal than the next-highest team.
West Ham And Brentford Among Best Cost Per Goal In Premier League For Different Reasons
Considering Brentford and West Ham are 11th and 16th in the Premier League respectively, you may not think they’d have offered fans a good return on their season ticket investment.
But both clubs actually have a lower cost per goal ratio than league leaders Liverpool at the moment.
For Brentford, their excellent home record has seen them score 30 times at the Gtech Community Stadium, with only the Reds scoring more times (31) at home in the Premier League this season.
With Brentford’s cheapest adult season ticket (£495) much cheaper than an equivalent ticket at Anfield (£713), the Bees outperform the Reds in the cost per goal rankings.
West Ham, meanwhile, have scored just 18 times at home in the Premier League.
But with the cheapest adult season ticket available of any club (£345), their cost per goal of £19.17 is beaten only by Brentford (£16.50) and Manchester City (£14.17.)
