Andrew found 100-30 Sedgefield scorer THE NAVIGATOR on Sunday and also made a healthy profit with his other play. He has two recommended bets/trades on Monday, October 21st…

SOUTHWELL 6.45

EARTHY improved for the drop to 6f when getting off the mark in a nursery under Lewis Edmunds at Chelmsford last time, having shown good early speed when a well-beaten 66-1 fifth in a 1m nursery at Lingfield on her penultimate start. Amy Murphy’s filly recorded a useful time figure for the grade, and, on breeding, she might be even better suited by Tapeta when she contests this 6f Class 6 nursery tonight. Edmunds retains the ride and a 4lb rise is fair enough. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back EARTHY in Southwell 6.45

WOLVERHAMPTON 8.30

Ruth Carr’s runners often go under the radar, and we would have made a good profit in recent years by supporting her last time out all-weather winners who were bidding to follow up in another all-weather contest. Since the beginning of 2021, the score is 14 winners from 58 qualifiers for a profit of £34.33 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those returned to the track within 15 days were 11 from 29 for a profit of £47.08 (expected winners = 5.04, A/E = 2.18). BETWEENTHESTICKS landed a course and distance apprentice handicap at odds of 14-1 last week, despite failing to settle, and escapes a penalty for that success. The four-year-old’s course record now reads 1381 (2-4), improving to 131 (2-3) in Class 5 or lower company, with the defeat by just half a length. He’s well drawn in stall 6 and looks a shade over-priced despite heading the market. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back BETWEENTHESTICKS in Wolverhampton 8.30
