Royal Ascot Trends Day Two (Wednesday 18th June 2025): Key Stats To Help You Find The Wednesday Winners

The Royal Ascot 2025 action continues into Wednesday, in what could be deemed the toughest day of the five days for punters.

We get going with the Queen Mary Stakes – a Group Two 5f race for 2 year-old fillies – and it’s one of the worst Royal Ascot races for Aidan O’Brien as he’s yet to win it. He tries to break his duck with True Love.

In contrast, the next race – the Queen’s Vase Stakes – is a race O’Brien loves. He’s won the prize eight times before and has a strong hand again with the Ryan Moore ridden Shackleton and Scandinavia.

The Duke Of Cambridge Stakes sees last year’s English and Irish 1000 Guineas winners Elmalka and Fallen Angel take on Godolphin’s Cinerella’s Dream.

While the day’s feature is the Prince of Wales Stakes. Where the Royal Ascot trends on day two tell us Anmaat will be looking to become the first 7+ year-old winner since the race was reintroduced in 1968. He’ll take on Los Angeles, who many are saying is one of the day two Royal Ascot bankers.

The Royal Hunt Cup at 5:00 will see 30 runners, so it’s a tricky race to solve. But the Royal Ascot trends tell us that 20 of the last 23 winners were aged 4 or 5.

You can see all the Royal Ascot trends on Day two below – with stats for all seven contests.
