The biggest team golf event in the world takes centre-stage at Bethpage Black this weekend, with 12 of Europe’s best golfers up against 12 of the best American golfers on the planet.
SportsCasting are on hand to provide several Ryder Cup betting tips and outright predictions as well as outlining the latest odds.
Ryder Cup Betting Tips
SportsCasting‘s golf tips have yielded several winners throughout the PGA Tour season, particularly in the FedEx Cup play-offs.
We tipped Tommy Fleetwood to win the Tour Championship, as well as two winning each-way selections of JJ Spaun (50/1) and Akshay Bhatia (80/1) both coming inside the Top 10 at the FedEx St Jude Championship.
That strong tipping form will hopefully continue this week into the 45th Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.

Ryder Cup 2025 Outright Predictions
EUROPE To WIN Ryder Cup Outright @ 5/4
Out first Ryder Cup betting tip for the 45th edition of the biennial golf event is that Team Europe will win the Ryder Cup outright.
Although captain Luke Donald and his side need just 14 points to retain the Ryder Cup, we feel they will go one better and win it outright on away soil.
If they do, this would be a monumental victory for the Blue and Gold. Europe’s Ryder Cup record when playing in America isn’t amazing, but it’s certainly better than USA’s has been on European soil since it became a USA vs Europe competition.
Europe have won four away Ryder Cup’s on US soil. These came in 1987, 1995, 2004 and most recently in 2012. Another interesting fact is that the last time the Ryder Cup was played in New York, Europe won it.
America have won just two away Ryder Cup’s since 1979, winning just one on European soil in the time that Europe have won four in America.
Although it will be a tough ask for Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Tommy Fleetwood and co to take down the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele, we feel they up to the task and are more than capable of doing the job.
15.5-12.5 EUROPE Correct Score @ 14/1
In terms of a correct score prediction, it is extremely difficult to make a selection right on the nose.
Team USA’s Ryder Cup record when playing at home is incredibly strong, but we have a sneaky suspicion that Luke Donald’s European side could record a memorable victory at Bethpage this year.
The togetherness and team spirit of the European side is obvious for everyone to see. The fact that 11 of the 12 players from the Rome success two years ago remain in the team will massively help with morale too.
As if winning an away Ryder Cup isn’t hard enough, winning it by three points, which is our betting tip, would be a monumental effort.
However, we feel this group of European players are more than capable of pulling of a historic victory in New York and going down in Ryder Cup folklore as one of the greatest European sides of all time.
Tommy Fleetwood Top Europe Points Scorer @ 11/2
Although the Rory McIlroy Ryder Cup record is the best on Team Europe in terms of points scorer, Tommy Fleetwood has showed that he is one of the best players in the world this year.
Now that Fleetwood has the monkey off his back of winning on the PGA Tour after his memorable FedEx Cup victory, the Englishman will be full of confidence that he can continue his strong form at Bethpage Black.
It’s like that Fleetwood will play at least four sessions of the five, perhaps even them all. He is a shoe-in for the foursomes, having won all four matches he’s played at the Ryder Cup in that format.
Both his four-ball and singles records are strong too, making him a great pick to be Europe’s leading points scorer at the 45th Ryder Cup. Not to mention the fact he is in great form and playing the best golf of his life.
Tommy Fleetwood’s Ryder Cup record is already fairly impressive with eight points from a possible 12, and we feel this year he could be the leading points scorer for Luke Donald’s side.
At odds of 11/2, Fleetwood’s odds to secure the most points for Europe simply cannot be ignored.
JJ Spaun Top USA Points Scorer @ 25/1
It might surprise some golf fans to find out that reigning US Open champion JJ Spaun is the least likely to be Team USA’s top points scorer according to the latest bookmaker odds.
Although the Bryson DeChambeau Ryder Cup record consists of an unbeaten performance the last time USA played on home soil and the fact Scottie Scheffler is in the ranks, we feel debutant Spaun has the game to come up trumps for Keegan Bradley.
Winning the US Open at Oakmont, which is one of the toughest golf courses in the world, shows that Spaun can play tough courses extremely well. This is needed at Bethpage Black, which is also recognised as an extremely difficult 18 -holes.
As a reliable player, Spaun may well get selected to play all five sessions. If he is, or even plays in four, he could be a great bet to rank as Team USA’s top points scorer at odds of 25/1.
