Thursday’s Premier League Transfer Rumours
Real Madrid Hold A ‘Genuine Interest’ In Micky van de Ven
TEAMtalk report that Real Madrid hold a ‘genuine interest’ in signing Tottenham star Micky van de Ven ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
The pacey central defender, who scored a stunning solo goal against Copenhagen in the Champions League earlier this week, has become a key player for the north London outfit.
Spurs have no intention of losing him however, and are under no financial or contractual pressure to sell, as the 24-year-old’s contract runs until the summer of 2029.
Van de Ven wants to play at the highest level consistently though, so if Tottenham fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, he may force the club’s hand into selling.
Paris Saint-Germain are also long-term admirers and are said to be monitoring the situation.
Real Madrid Pull Out Of The Race For Marc Guehi
Los Blancos‘ interest in Van de Ven comes amid fresh reports that they have pulled out of the race for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, whose contract reaches its expiry this summer.
As reported in last Friday’s Premier League transfer rumours roundup, Real were said to be ‘confident’ of landing the England international ahead of Liverpool, Bayern and Barcelona.
This no longer seems to be the case however. Spanish outlet AS claim that the LaLiga giants have withdrawn their interest in Guehi due to high salary and signing-on demands.

They have also listed Liverpool and Bayern as more likely destinations for the Eagles skipper.
Guehi came close to joining the Reds on deadline day last summer, but the move fell through.
Sandro Tonali Issues Update On Newcastle Future
Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali has refused to commit his long-term future to the club.
Despite this, the Italian has reiterated that he is ‘happy’ and is not thinking about a move away.
Speaking after an impressive man-of-the-match display in his side’s 2-0 win over Athletic Club in the Champions League, Tonali, who is contracted until 2029, provided the latest on his future.
“I don’t want to say I want to stay here for 10 years and in two, three, four or five years I go.
“Last summer was tough for us and for Alex [Isak], but this is football. If you have an option for your life, for another team, you need to think everything [through] in football.
“I don’t want to say ‘I want to stay for 10 years’, but now I am happy here and [I’m not thinking] about other teams.”
German ‘Wonderkid’ Drawing Premier League Interest
Several Premier League clubs are eyeing up a move for Hertha Berlin’s 16-year-old wonderkid Kennet Eichhorn, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City.
This is according to the Mirror, who report that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, PSG, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen have all sent scouts to watch the youngster too.
The defensive midfielder has made nine first team appearances for the second tier German side this term, which has forced Europe’s elite to stand up and take notice of his talents.
Bild suggest that Hertha would consider an offer worth âŹ20m (ÂŁ17m) for the youngster.
His impressive displays have drawn comparisons to Real Madrid and Germany icon Toni Kroos.
Liverpool ‘Plot Move’ For Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh
Football Insider report that Liverpool are ‘plotting a move’ for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh.
The Reds are in the market for a new winger amid Mohamed Salah’s concerning form as of late, with Fulham’s Kevin also listed as a potential target in Monday’s transfer rumours roundup.
They have already begun assessing their options ahead of next summer’s window, and Minteh, who has impressed at the Amex thus far this term, has emerged as a ‘serious option’.
However, his potential price tag is said to be a concern for Anfield chiefs.
It is claimed that the south coast club could demand upwards of ÂŁ100m for the Gambia international. His contract with the Seagulls runs until 2029, so they are under no obligation to sell.
