Tottenham vs Manchester United Preview, Prediction, Team News And Confirmed Lineups

Tottenham play host to Manchester United on Super Sunday and you can find our preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups below.
Tottenham vs Manchester United Preview
This Premier League encounter will see two managers that are under huge amounts of pressure go head-to-head, as Ange Postecoglou and Ruben Amorim look to build some form in the Premier League.
Spurs have failed to live up to expectations this season, with the Lilywhites sitting in 14th and closer to the relegation places than the top four.
Injuries have played a massive part in this underwhelming display, as Postecoglou will not be able to call upon his starting centre back duo and striker.
Tottenham did pick up an impressive 2-0 away win against Brentford in their last league fixture, but have been knocked out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup since.
Moving on to Manchester United, Ruben Amorim’s side have failed to kick on under their new leadership and were beaten 2-0 by Crystal Palace in their last Premier League clash.
The Red Devils did move a step closer in their quest to defend their FA Cup trophy, scoring a late-winner against Leicester City at Old Trafford.
A win over Tottenham would see the Red Devils move five points clear of Ange Postecoglou’s side, however, Spurs thrashed United 3-0 in the reverse fixture earlier on in the season.
Tottenham vs Manchester United Team News
Tottenham have seen their season be ripped apart through injuries, however, Ange Postecoglou confirmed some huge news for his side as Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario are available for selection.
The Italian shot-stopper makes his first appearance since November 2024 after spraining his ankle against Manchester City.
James Maddison also return to the starting lineup, but Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Richarlison, Dominic Solanke and Radu Dragusin will all miss out.
As for the visitors, they will be without Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Lisandro Martinez, with the latter suffering a ACL injury against Crystal Palace.
United were hit with a major blow as Amad Diallo was ruled out for a number of weeks and means United have several academy players on the bench.
Jonny Evans and Altay Bayindir are also unavailable, but the duo have played secondary roles for the majority of this season.

Tottenham vs Manchester United Prediction
Both of these sides have struggled to find any sort of form this season, which could be why they are so evenly priced on UK betting sites.
Predicting a result is difficult due to the inconsistency shown from both Spurs and Manchester United, which is why we expect a close encounter – ending in a score draw.
Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Manchester United
