Tommy Fleetwood - Golf (1)

This week sees the Tour Championship take centre-stage on PGA Tour in what is the final event of the season and FedEx Cup play-off finale.

The top 30 players on the FedEx Cup standings will battle it out for golfing supremacy at East Lake this week, with Sunday’s winner capturing both the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup in the process.

SportsCasting are on hand to provide both outright and each-way betting tips as well as in-depth analysis, predictions, a preview and the latest odds.

Tour Championship Betting Tips

Our golf tips for the past two PGA Tour events have yielded a few winners, particularly at the FedEx St Jude Championship a fortnight ago when both JJ Spaun (50/1) and Akshay Bhatia (80/1) came inside the top 10 as our two each-way selections.

Last week’s BMW Championship betting tips saw a pick of Ludvig Aberg to win, which didn’t pay out. However, the Swedish golfer did finish in a tie for seventh, so we weren’t too far away.

This week, we are back with a further three selections for the Tour Championship in the FedEx Cup play-off finale. We have once again selected one outright betting tip and two each-way selections for the 2025 Tour Championship in the final PGA Tour tournament of the season.

They are as follows:

  • Tommy Fleetwood WIN @ 12/1
  • Keegan Bradley E/W @ 40/1
  • Harris English E/W @ 45/1

Tour Championship Predictions

Tommy Fleetwood to Win @ 12/1

Golf betting sites have priced Tommy Fleetwood as the third favourite at odds of 12/1 this week, and we think he could claim his first ever PGA Tour win come Sunday at East Lake.

After his countless near misses on the PGA Tour, how fitting would it be for Fleetwood to win his first PGA Tour title at the Tour Championship and claim the FedEx Cup in the process?

The English golfer has been in red-hot form of late, despite not picking up any wins. Just last week Fleetwood finished in a tie for fourth at the BMW Championship, which came after a third place finish the week prior at the FedEx St Jude Championship.

The 34-year-old also finished second at the Travellers Championship back in June, leading the whole tournament until the back-nine on Sunday.

Fleetwood is due a break, and we feel it could finally come this week at the 2025 Tour Championship. He has been seriously impressive this term, despite his near misses and somewhat mini collapses on Sunday’s.

If the Englishman can hold his nerve and play the golf he has been playing this past few months, he could well beat the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy to the FedEx Cup title.

Here at SportsCasting, we believe the seven-time European Tour winner could finally triumph in America this week at the Tour Championship. At odds of 12/1, Tommy Fleetwood is our outright pick to win at East Lake.

Keegan Bradley Each-Way @ 40/1

In terms of an each-way selection, major champion and eight-time PGA Tour winner Keegan Bradley simply cannot be ignored at odds of 40/1.

There is $40m worth of Tour Championship prize money up for grabs this week, and we feel that Bradley could be in for a large chunk of that this week in Atlanta.

The 2025 Team USA Ryder Cup captain won the Travellers Championship back in June, but hasn’t been in his best form since. That being said, Bradley finished with a final round of -3 par last week at the BMW Championship to guarantee himself a T17 finish.

Although he didn’t bring his best golf the first three days last week, Bradley showed signs that it might all be clicking together again at the right time on Sunday.

With his wealth of experience and having won FedEx Cup play-off events in the past, at odd of 40/1 backing Keegan Bradley each-way simply cannot be ignored.

Here at SportsCasting we feel that price-setters could be missing a trick here with the 39-year-old’s odds.

Harris English Each-Way @ 45/1

Another each-way selection that we simply can’t ignore is that of the ever-consistent American golfer Harris English. At 45/1 odds, we see real value in backing him each-way this week at East Lake.

English has been confirmed as one of Team USA’s players at the Ryder Cup next month in New York, and it’s clear to see why given his record this season and sheer consistency week in, week out.

The 36-year-old finished T12 last week at the BMW Championship, but would have been close to the top five if it wasn’t for an underwhelming showing on Sunday.

He of course finished in solo second at the 153rd Open Championship, coming closest to the dominant Scottie Scheffler at Royal Portrush. Not only that, but English finished T4 at the Travellers.

Annoyingly for the American, he finished second at the PGA Championship back in May too at Quail Hollow, once again behind Scheffler. If it wasn’t for the world number one, English would have won two majors this year. Let that sink in.

At huge odds of 45/1 in a 30-man field, here at SportsCasting we feel that Harris English could make a charge and come close to capturing the Tour Championship title come Sunday.

Tour Championship Preview

All eyes are on East Lake Golf Club this week as the 2025 Tour Championship takes centre-stage on the PGA Tour in the final FedEx Cup play-off event of the season.

Not only is this the FedEx Cup finale, but it is also the last tournament of the PGA Tour. The top 30 in the current FedEx Cup standings have made it to East Lake, with every player in with a shot of that $10m top prize come Sunday.

The Tour Championship tee times have been officially released for round one, with several intriguing two-balls. For example, world number one Scottie Scheffler and career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy are playing together on Thursday in the final group.

All 30 players who have made it this far are more than capable of winning the Tour Championship this week. That being said, Scheffler could be hard to stop from lifting a second successive FedEx Cup title.

However, the new 72-hole stroke-play format has made it a level playing field, meaning there will be no stroke advantages before a ball has been struck.

So, who will reign supreme at East Lake GC this week and claim victory at the 2025 Tour Championship come Sunday after 72 holes? Whoever does will be crowned the FedEx Cup champion too!

Tour Championship Odds

Four-time major champion Scottie Scheffler is the overwhelming favourite to win the Tour Championship this week.

The world number one won last week at the BMW Championship, finished T3 at the FedEx St Jude Championship, won The Open, won the Memorial Tournament and won the PGA Championship all in his last nine starts.

Scheffler is undoubtedly the man to stop, with career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy second favourite behind the American to win a record fourth FedEx Cup.

Behind Scheffler and McIlroy is Tommy Fleetwood (12/1), with Ludvig Aberg (16/1) and Russell Henley (18/1) next in line. Viktor Hovland is priced at 22/1, with both Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns at odds of 25/1 behind him.

Cameron young (28/1) and Collin Morikawa (28/1) make up the top 20 favourites this week at the Tour Championship at East Lake GC in Atlanta, Georgia.

Below are the top 10 favourites for success this week in the finale FedEx Cup play-off event of the season:
